Disney is giving out free tickets to Typhoon Lagoon to select Guests. Are you one of the lucky recipients?

One of the two water parks at Disney World is Typhoon Lagoon. It just reopened on January 2, 2022 after being closed for almost 2 years! Blizzard Beach is now closed for refurbishment, and that was just extended until at least May.

Typhoon Lagoon has a cool beach vibe. Guests enjoy a tropical paradise hit by a typhoon. The theme is well executed and will make you feel like you’re spending the day at the beach! It is a stark contrast to the Blizzard Beach theming that makes Guests feel like they are stuck in a snowstorm.

Typhoon Lagoon has one of the largest surf pools in the world. You can even take surfing lessons here! Recently, we shared Stitch is back to meeting at Typhoon Lagoon!

Sounds like a great day away from the four main theme parks, right? You may be lucky enough to be one of the recipients of free tickets to Typhoon Lagoon!

Unfortunately, the pool at Coronado Springs is closed today and tomorrow, March 4 and 5. According to a reader in our KtP Crew group, Disney is giving free tickets to Guests staying at Coronado Springs as compensation. It seems likely something unexpected happened there and Disney could not notify Guests in time.

With temperatures getting pretty hot this weekend, this will be a welcome respite for those recipients! See the rest of Joe’s weather forecast for this weekend HERE.
