Epcot Meets

Character interactions have been a bit more difficult at Epcot compared to the other parks. The World Showcase is so big that it was easy to miss a cavalcade. Disney removed them and instead added socially distanced meets. Mickey, Minnie, and their friends meet up at the front entrance of the park.

You can find Joy from Inside Out and Pooh outside the Imagination Pavilion. Pooh always looks so sweet chasing butterflies!

Additionally, various characters meet in their countries around the World Showcase. I have personally seen Mary Poppins, Alice, Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, Mulan, Anna, and Elsa.

The only character meal currently offered at Epcot is Garden Grill. At lunch and dinner (no breakfast), Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale will come around to your table.

Another meet added to the list

We have patiently been waiting for an actual Mickey photo opportunity at Epcot! The sighting at the front of the park does not really allow for a close interaction.

Mickey is back at Epcot!

Kenny met Mickey Mouse at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival today, November 19. He is looking very dapper in his suit! His location also offers various artwork on the walls depicting him in various cartoons.

Since this meet is indoors, you do need to wear a face covering. As a reminder, face coverings are still required in all indoor areas – including attractions and restaurants.

There are Cast Members available to assist in photo taking, and the photos will turn out awesome with the blue curtain and artwork!

We are so happy to see a Mickey sighting back at Epcot! Be sure to add him to your itinerary on Character Locator.
