Disney in January
January is a great time to visit Walt Disney World. Guests can experience cooler temperatures and lighter crowds. For the past couple of years, I (Maggie) have enjoyed visiting in January to start off the New Year.
For guests visiting EPCOT, the Festival of the Arts takes place. It is one of my favorite festivals of the year. This year it takes place from January 14th to February 21, 2022. For more details relating to next year’s Festival of the Arts, take a look at this post HERE.
Knowing park hours will help your touring plans for your next trip. The last update we had included hours for days through New Year’s Eve.

Magic Kingdom will be open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on January 1st.
Hours will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm from January 2nd through January 10th.
On all days, onsite Guests will be able to enter at 8:30 am. On January 5, deluxe resort Guests can enjoy the park from 8 pm to 10 pm.
EPCOT will be open from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm on January 1st and from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm January 2nd through January 10th.
All onsite guests can enter as early as 10:30 am. Deluxe resort Guests can visit Epcot from 9 pm to 11 pm on January 10th.
Hollywood Studios will operate from 9 am to 9 pm every day January 1st through January 10th. Onsite guests can ride their favorite attractions as early as 8:30 am.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is open to Guests from 9 am to 7 pm from January 1st to January 10th. If you want to take advantage of early theme park entry, you can enter as early as 8:30 am.
Disney Springs will be open from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm on January 1st and hours will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm through January 10th.
Blizzard Beach will be undergoing refurbishment during this time. Announcements regarding Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon remain yet to be seen.
