Planning a trip to Walt Disney World after the kickoff of the 50th Anniversary Celebration?  Are you someone that tries to hit the sweet spot of catching the end of Halloween festivities and the beginning of holiday festivities?  We now have park hours released through November 6th.  One park’s earlier opening time continues for early November as the holiday season approaches.

Previously Released Hours

Disney has continued to release future park hours one day at a time this week, instead of releasing a week’s worth at a time like they had been doing in recent months.  We provided previous updates on the park hours through late October, Halloween, and November 1st.

In recent news related to park hours, the full attraction lists were provided and more dates were added for Extended Evening Hours.  Now Disney has released park hours through November 6th.  We’ll take a look at the hours for November 1st through the 6th in this post.  Many guests try to plan a trip in this timeframe to see the parks transition from Halloween decorations to the start of holiday decorations.

Magic Kingdom will be open each day in early November from 9:00am to 9:00pm.  In October there were days that the Magic Kingdom closed earlier for the Boo Bash, but that is not the case for this time period.  The Final Boo Bash After Hours Event is on Halloween.  We recently provided an update on one Boo Bash that was affected by inclement weather here.

The first Very Merriest After Hours Event is set for November 8th so we should get official park hours through that date soon.

Hollywood Studios hours remain unchanged from our previous updates.  The park will be open from 9:00am to 9:00pm.

EPCOT Extension Continues

The earlier opening that we saw for October will continue in early November.  Guests will be able to enjoy an extra hour at EPCOT as the park now will be from 10:00am to 10:00pm throughout the entire month of October and through November 6th.  Previously the park had been opening at 11:00am.  Keep in mind that the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival officially kicks off in the park each day at 11:00am.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will be open 8:00am to 7:00pm daily through November 6th.  This is unchanged from previous updates as well, and we continue to eagerly anticipate evening hours to enjoy Pandora illuminated at night.

Sunset in early November in Orlando is about 6:35 so there may be some opportunities near park closing.

Additional Destinations

Disney Springs will be open from 10:00am to 11:00pm daily expect for Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th when the shopping, dining, and entertainment complex closes at 11:30pm.

Does anyone care anymore ? Disney has been destroyed by money grabs and paying more for less. As Disney said Genie + offers guest flexibility. They said they listen to their guests. Wrong. I still have to book a park pass so I still need a plan. I am really concerned that this 2.00pm park hopper will also stay. As a DVC Member I will use WDW as a base. But for the parks ? Forget it. I want a vacation not have my pants pulled down. Shameful.
