Walt Disney World has been teasing us with so many sneak peeks that we can expect to see beginning on October 1st.

Guests are going to see the whole gang in brand new “EARidescent” costumes. I (Maggie) love this fresh new look and cannot wait to see it.

We will also see new nighttime shows at the Magic Kingdom and at Epcot. Not only that, but there is a brand new Animal Kingdom show debuting to celebrate as well.

You can also expect to see park icons be illuminated in their EARidescent glow as well as up to 50 brand new sculptures making their debut at the Magic Kingdom beginning on October 1st.

If you cannot visit Walt Disney World on its anniversary, why not bring some of the celebration home?

Disney Parks Blog has shared that a new coffee table book will be released for the 50th anniversary.

This fall, you can bring home “Walt Disney World: A Portrait of the First Half Century,” a beautiful new coffee table book from Disney Editions. You can see the cover art above for this insider’s look at the history and evolution of Walt Disney World, written by Kevin Kern, Tim O’Day and Steven Vagnini.

The book will be available for purchase beginning on September 28th at Walt Disney World, shopDisney.com and wherever books are sold. I will definitely be buying this one!
