The PhotoPass Capture your Moment Sessions are expanding! Now you can get your own personal photographer at another park in addition to Magic Kingdom. Will you be booking at this new location?
Capture your Moment
Last February, Disney introduced Capture your Moment – a personal 20 minute session with a Disney World PhotoPass photographer. Guests could pay $50 for up to 8 Guests and receive personalized photos from around various icons at Magic Kingdom.
It was not available upon Disney World’s reopening last year, but it did recently start back up again. Three of our KtP writers have been able to enjoy these sessions. You can check out if it’s worth the money or not HERE.
I will say now that we can take our masks off for outdoor photos, I am much more excited about the thought of a Capture your Moment session! My daughter will have her photos taken for her birthday trip, and I am looking forward to the finished product.
Expanding Capture your Moment
Animal Kingdom will now also be capturing those special vacation moments! According to Disney, “At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Capture Your Moment sessions will take place on or nearby Discovery Island, where you can take advantage of stunning views of the Tree of Life.
After checking in for your session at the ticket and information desk located outside of Island Mercantile, your photographer will discuss available photo shoot locations and ask a few questions to determine how the session can be customized to your needs.
After being escorted to your photo shoot location, you’ll have the opportunity to capture photos there with your photographer for up to 20 minutes.”
How to make reservations
Reservations for Capture your Moment at Animal Kingdom begin today for sessions on or after May 17. As a reminder, you can make reservations up to 60 days before your trip!
You can call or make reservations online, and they are highly encouraged due to the popularity. Disney even states morning sessions tend to be most popular.
