2020’s shopDisney monthly merchandise series has come to a (somewhat bitter) end. Check out the theme of the monthly series for 2021!
For the past few years, shopDisney has released a collection on a monthly basis centered around a theme.
One year, it was Mickey through the Years. This year it was “Minnie Mouse: the Main Attraction“.
shopDisney UK broke the news of the newest collection on Instagram!
Minnie Mouse the Main Attraction
Each month in 2020, new Minnie Mouse merchandise centered around a different classic attraction came out.
We saw Minnie ears, bags, plushes, mugs, pins and magic bands for each of the 12 attractions. The attractions represented were (in month order):
January- Space Mountain
February- Pirates of the Caribbean
March- Mad Tea Party
April- it’s a small world
May- Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
June- Peter Pan’s Flight
July- King Arthur Carrousel
August- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
September- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
October- The Haunted Mansion
November- The Jungle Cruise
December- The Castle Nighttime Finale
2021 Collection
On December 18, 2020 shopDisney UK dropped a teaser for the 2021 collection.
As of this writing, the US shopDisney has not shared the teaser! However, it is common for the UK shop to get merchandise first.
The collection will be called “Stitch Crashes Disney“!
The teaser didn’t reveal even a single item from the collection. But, just for fun, we can speculate based on the title!
Back in 2002, several trailers were released for Lilo and Stitch in which Stitch crashed other Disney films. See below:
Maybe this new collection will feature mash ups of the lovable misfit AND our favorite classic Disney films?
Difficult to Collect
No matter what the collection is, many fans feel fatigued from the shopDisney messes of 2020. From bot issues to merchpass lotteries and canceled orders, collecting has been challenging this year.
I’ve seen many fans saying they would sit this year out, prior to the announcement of the 2021 theme. I wonder if they will stick to that now that they know what it will be?

I'm slightly saddened by this news personally. I don't know if anyone can relate but personally I'm so over stitch. He has so many loungflys..., don't know if I'm the only one but now could Disney do so good with the 2020 merchandise and then give us a year of stitch. Sign, hope I'm proven wrong • thanks for listening to my rant - wonderful article as always though

Totally with you! Not a big stitch fan. However, rumor mill says there will not be loungeflys. I think we will get a preview this week
