With the phased reopening of Walt Disney World came shortened Park hours. New hours have just been released for October and even through December. See how this may affect your future travel plans.
Park Hours
Guests visiting Walt Disney World have been welcomed with many changes during the phased reopening. One of the most difficult changes has been associated with the shortened Park hours.
With the phased reopening the Disney Parks open later and close earlier. Also the perk of extra magic hours and After Hours Events have also been eliminated.
We have been happy to report that Park hours were extended in September and even into December.
I like to open and close the Parks and the shortened hours have taken a bit of adjusting in my dream of the perfect Disney day.
Good news continues to roll in with extended hours for Guests to make even more magical memories.
Extended Hours for October
Guest visiting Walt Disney World next weekend and through October 12th will enjoy a little more time in the Parks.
October 2-4
- Magic Kingdom: 9:00am until 7:00pm
- EPCOT 11:00am until 9:00pm
- Disney’s Hollywodood Studios: 10:00am until 8:00pm
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 8:00am until 6:00pm
October 9-12 (Columbus Day weekend)
- Magic Kingdom: 9:00am until 8:00pm
- EPCOT 11:00am until 9:00pm
- Disney’s Hollywodood Studios: 10:00am until 7:00pm
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 8:00am until 6:00pm
These hours were similar to the Park hours in July. Guests were disappointed when Disney announced shortened hours. We are hoping that more great news of extended hours will be on the horizon.
Guests will enjoy Extended hours for October 2nd-4th and October 9th-12th
Extended Hours for December
Walt Disney World just posted their Park hours through December 12th:
- Magic Kingdom: 9:00am until 7:00pm
- EPCOT: 12:00pm until 8:00pm
- Disney’sHollywood Studios: 10:00am until 7:00pm
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 9:00am until 5:00pm
Magic Kingdom will continue to offer extended hours from November 6th.
The 7:00pm closing will allow Guests to enjoy the additional Christmas holiday festivities that will be offered. For more on that, head HERE.
EPCOT will see a change in Park hours beginning November 27th. Although this does not extend the Park hours, it is merely a shift from the 11:00am until 7:00pm Park hours.
