The Crew had so much fun with the Kenny the Pirate Character Tournament, we’re doing another one! This time, we’ll vote each day to narrow down our favorite Walt Disney World attractions. In the championship, we’ll decide on the ultimate Disney World attraction!
Family Attractions
We picked 16 of the best family attractions that can be enjoyed from the very young to the young at heart! The attractions in this bracket are some of my absolute favorites!

How The Tournament Works
Every day at approximately 12:00 pm EST we will post two attractions for you to vote on. The link will be sent to Twitter, Facebook (both the official Kenny the Pirate page and Crew group), and your email if you are a subscriber. We will work through 4 attractions categories:
- Classic Rides
- Shows
- Thrill Rides
- Family Rides
The poll closes at 6:00 am EST the following day. Once we work through the first round in all 4 categories, the winners advance on to the next round. Voting will continue until we pick the most popular Disney World attraction in the Championship Game!
Keep a lookout for this post each day, and vote using the poll below in this post! This tournament will be played similar to March Madness. Let’s call it “Summer Madness!”

Today’s game of our Disney World Attraction Tournament features Kilimanjaro Safaris versus Soarin’ Around the World. Both of these experiences give guests the feeling they’ve world adventurers rather than being in a theme park.
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Kilimanjaro Safaris is located in the Africa Section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Set off in an open-air vehicle for a guided tour of an African savanna—and spot live animals roaming free.
Explore the Harambe Wildlife Reserve, where 34 species live in 110 acres of open plains, shady forest landscapes and rocky wetlands. This is the closest most guests come to being on an African safari!
Ride it while it’s raining for an extra special showing of the animals. They seem to really come out then.
Soarin’ Around the World
Guests can find Soarin’ Around the World in Future World at EPCOT inside The Land Pavilion.
Take flight on a breezy adventure as you hang glide above the breathtaking trip at various landmarks across the globe.
I love the beautiful landscapes as well as the smells Disney incorporates as they build up to the fireworks finale.

Soarin' is my favorite ride at Disney, but its not that long in duration. The Kilimanjaro Safari is a longer, fun family ride. But my heart is with Soarin'

Although I love the Safari, I had to go with Soarin’ too! Just love the gentle feeling of flying around the world.
