Film’s Premise

This film allows us to follow Joe who is a middle school band teacher. Joe shares with us that “Music has the power to move people, music is life. You simply need to know where to look.”

As Joe continues through his day, we see that music allows him the ability to connect with both the young and the young at heart.

“Music has the power to move people”

Guiding Principle

Through this film we are all encouraged to spend our time dedicated to the things that will “bring out the real you.” We each have a gift inside of us that we can contribute to the world, it is simply waiting to get out.

This film has such a powerful message that will resonate with all audience goers. I know I have watched many films with my children that I watched simply because I love my kids, but I felt as though I lost brain cells sitting through the film.

This animated film appears to be thought provoking and inspiring to both children, parents, and grandparents that their life is just about to start.

“Get Ready: Your life is about to start.”

Premiere Date

“Soul” was originally set to premiere on June 19, 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic this premiere date has been moved to November 20.

The new trailer that was just released features a song from the film titled, “Parting Ways.” This song was produced and performed by American R&B star, Cody ChesnuTT.

Lost brain cells? Does that mean it’s boring?

Yes, some of the other children's movies and animated films do not hold my interest. I am very excited about this new movie, Soul, because it seems to appeal to both the young and the young at heart.
