Disney Princess and makeup fans rejoice! The all new Disney Designer Midnight Masquerade Collection just launched featuring a new makeup collaboration from Colourpop Cosmetics, a limited edition series of dolls, pins, dishware and more that feature some rare princesses!

I am a big makeup enthusiast and a huge fan of all things Disney. When Colourpop Cosmetics launched the original Disney Designer Collection makeup series, I was hooked. The original series featured Belle, Ariel, Tiana, Jasmine, Cinderella, and Snow White. Not long ago, they also introduced the Villains Collection with Ursula, Maleficent, Hades, Cruella, the Evil Queen and Dr. Facillier. I have personally purchased both the “It’s a Princess Thing” and the “Misunderstood” Eyeshadow pallets and LOVE them. I own most of the lipstick colors, and I have to say for $8.00 these are the best lipsticks around! They are very matte and do not budge all day. Each color is unique and I personally love to mix and match the colors to create new looks.

On October 7th, Disney and Colourpop have launched the third installment of their Designer Collection: Midnight Masquerade. What is super exciting is that this new collection offers a mix of classic princesses and forgotten heroines such as Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Megara, Giselle, Esmerelda, Tiana and Rapunzel.

The new collection features eight lux liquid lipsticks, 4 new highlighters, 4 new blushes and a brand new 15 shade eyeshadow pallet. The entire 8 princess collection can be yours for a whopping $161.00 or you can buy each princess bundle individually for $18.00. If you want to mix and match items individually, they are: $8.00 for the lux lipstick, $22.00 for the eyeshadow pallet, and $10.00 for each blush and highlighter.

In conjunction with this new collection, Disney announced during the D23 convention that a limited edition Midnight Masquerade Doll Collection would also be released. There will be five dolls in total, each doll releases every Saturday from October 5 to November 2 online at 7 am PT and at select Disney store locations on a first come, first serve basis.

    • October 5 – Esmeralda (Limited Edition of 5,200)
    • October 12 – Belle (Limited Editionof 5,800)
    • October 19 – Cinderella (Limited Editionof 5,600)
    • October 26 – Megara (Limited Edition of 5,200)
    • November 2 – Rapunzel (Limited Edition of 5,900)

Each doll will be sold for $129.95.

In addition to the new dolls, Disney has also released two limited edition pin sets, a jewelry box, coffee mugs, plates and a stationary set. All of these can be found on the ShopDisney.com website. It is a little disappointing to note that the plates and cups are not dishwasher or microwave safe.

I personally cannot wait to purchase the new lipsticks and eyeshadow pallet. While the dolls look amazing, the price tag is a little too steep for me! If you would like to see color swatches of the new makeup line you can watch the official video from Colourpop below:

What do yo think about the new collection? Are you planning to purchase anything or have you already purchased any of these items?
