Another Celebrity Narrator Replaced at Epcot's 2019 Candlelight Processional

Disney has finally completed the 2016 Candlelight Processional presenter list!  Who are you excited to see?

Here are the presenters that have been added to the exisiting Candlelight Processional outline with a bit of background for each.  You can view the FULL Candlelight Processional presenter list here.

  • Edward James Olmos – December 4 to 6, 2016

February 24, 1947) is an American actor and director. Among his most memorable roles are William Adama in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica, Lieutenant Martin “Marty” Castillo in Miami Vice, teacher Jaime Escalante in Stand and Deliver, patriarch Abraham Quintanilla, Jr. in the film Selena, Detective Gaff inBlade Runner, and narrator El Pachuco in both the stage and film versions of Zoot Suit.   • Jim Caviezel – December 16 to 18, 2016

James PatrickJimCaviezel (born September 26, 1968) is an American actor, best known for portraying Jesus Christin the 2004 film The Passion of the Christ. Ming-Na Wen (born November 20, 1963) is an American actress. She has been credited with and without her family name “Wen”, but most credits since the late 1990s have been without it. She has been known by such variants of her name as Ming-Na, Ming Na, Ming Na Wen and Ming Wen.

She is known for voicing Fa Mulan, one of the Disney Princesses, in the films Mulan and Mulan II, the video gameKingdom Hearts II, and more recently on a guest appearance in the Disney animated series Sofia the First. She is also known for her role as Dr. Jing-Mei “Deb” Chen on the medical drama series ER.  (Wikipedia)

  • Jodi Benson –  December 25 to 27, 2016

Jodi Marie Marzorati Benson (born October 10, 1961) is an American voice actress, actress and soprano singer. She is best known for providing both the speaking and the singing voice of Disney’s Princess Ariel in The Little Mermaid and its sequel, prequel, and television series. Benson voiced the character Barbie in the 1999 movie Toy Story 2, the 2010 Academy Award winning movie Toy Story 3 and the Toy Story toon Hawaiian Vacation. For her contributions to the Disney company, Benson was named a Disney Legend in 2011.  (Wikipedia)

  1. Of course, I’m interested in who is narrating on 12/9 and that part of the list apparently still isn’t complete. I’ve heard that is is sometimes announced the week of….
