There’s no info about her at My Disney Experience app but she appears in the Character Locator. My girl would love to meet her. We are going this november.

Helloo! Im planning to take my kids to either the Magic Kingdom in April. The main reason is because they really really really want to meet Mikey and Minnie. Im not sure if they both can be found at the Magic kingdom? Also they are 3years old and 4years old which Orlando, FL park would be best to take them to?

So I have read that sometimes Flynn Rider does meet and greets? I’ve seen a few pictures online of him meeting guests, and I was wondering if you knew anything about this? He is one of my favorite Disney character and I feel like it would be SUPER cool to meet him! Thanks!
Flynn doesn’t offer regular meets. He did a thing were he popped up and jaunted through Fantasyland for a while, but that is gone. He does Christmas Party and will do the new Bon Voyage meal I wrote about.

Does Merida no longer have late afternoon hours? Will that likely change come summer, just a winter thing? If we show up at 9:15 or 9:30 on a yellow date (6-28), how long do you anticipate wait to be? 30min? Concerned if we get there at RD giving up like 3 little kid rides before she has even arrived 9:15.
Yes she does have afternoon hours. All her and other character hours are on http://www.characterlocator.com. Don’t arrive late or you’ll wait 30-60 minutes or more depending on rotations. Waiting 15 minutes is worth it and one parent can take the kids on tea cups while other waits in line, if need be.

We have a ADR at BOG for 8am on August 16th. I was hoping to get our kids to Peter Pan’s Flight after our breakfast to experience the new stand by entrance for the ride (we always have FP+ and haven’t seen it yet). Will Peter be out this early for a meet a greet? He meets just beyond the rides entrance as you walk through towards Liberty Square yes? If we want to meet him this particular morning should we get in line for “stand by” or start forming a line at his character meet and greet first? I’m sure cast members will be around to ask but I wanted to hear your opinion. I’m wondering if we will have time to ride the ride first then get in line to meet him without a huge wait.

Hi Kenny, we’re going to the magic kingdom November 16th and epcot November 18th, right around Christmas set ups. we’re not attending the Christmas parties at all, but during the day are there any special characters that you know of that come out for meet and greets that wouldn’t normally be out? (btw, we would really like to meet more villains other than gaston, are there any that can be found in magic kingdom or epcot?) thanks!
No you won’t see special characters and villains are long gone after Halloween parties end. Check Epcot Training and Character Palooza

I would just like to thank you for all the insight and info. We flew down June 9th and spent the 10th in Magic Kingdom for the day (and spent the rest of our vacation with my wife’s grandpa in Sebastian). We were successfully able to meet every single princess (except Aurora) in that time period, and a few walking around (Alice/Stepsisters/Pan/Poppins) Wednesdays, they open at 8am, so we were able to make the most of the time.
I think we may have the world record for only having to wait 20-25 minutes for Elsa and Anna (WITHOUT fast passes) Despite the on again-off again rain, it was an amazing day my 4 year old daughter absolutely loves to talk about. After every meet and greet, she would yell “I CANT BELIEVE I MET THE REAL____” with a huge smile on her face. Disney sure is magical for a kid, and it was worth every penny. The only troubles we had were meeting Jasmine/Aladdin and Tiana/Naveen. They would close off the line at weird times, and because of the weather, we didn’t even know if we’d get to meet Tiana.

We have Anna/Elsa fastpasses between 3:00-4:00 pm in July. I know this is usually the Festival of Fantasy parade time. Would they still meet during this hour or do they go on the parade? We were planning on seeing the parade when it starts in Frontierland and heading straight to the princesses as the parade moves towards main street. If they won’t be there we will have to alter our plans. Thanks for any insights you can provide

Hi Kenny… We’re going to Disney in Oct.2015, and in previous comments it was mentioned to get FP’s for A&E 90 days in advance… but when on the Disneygo site, it only will let me get FP’s for the beginning of July.. is there another way to get the FP’s? Also…does Minnie ever take pictures in her “classic” polka dot Minnie outfit anymore? 2 years ago she was stationed right at the entrance of Mk in her classic red and white polka dot outfit with the castle in the background – (perfect place), but we haven’t seen her there since… only as a “poodle trainer” along with Daisy in the circus area.

We are at disney now and the wait ten minutes after park opening was 75 minutes. We were able to get in line early because of 8 am reservations and only waited ten minutes
Since we weren’t able to get E&A fast passes, do you know when the slowest time is to see the girls? We’re going June 10th. I assume it’ll be insane all day, and we’ll probably just do as much as we can before having to wait the hours to see the girls.
Yes you both need a Fast Pass if you want to go in together. They will not let you both in the FP entrance if only one has a FP.
Saw a rumor on Wdwmagic that Flynn might be testing a meet and greet by the Tangled restrooms in May. Any truth to this?

Hi Kenny, would we be safe to do Peter Pan standby right after meeting talking Mickey in Town Square at RD. We are going in late August and it’s a recommended day to visit MK. My daughter wants to meet Mickey first on our first day in MK- no negotiation on this one! I know we could get a FP+ for PP, but I’d like to see the new queue and am hoping the lines won’t be too long if we do this second and arrive around 9:20 or 9:30 (not sure how long Talking Mickey will take). I would expect a 20 to 30 minute wait at least for PPF by the time you’re finished with the Mickey meet and made your way up the street.
This is our first time staying off property, we do have extra magic hours and are staying at the Hilton Disney in Downtown Disney. My 2 year old is having a fit to see A&E this trip but obviously we missed the fp+. What is your opinion on when to get in line to see them. Is it really better to go 30 min. before close? & if I’m in line, do they have to see us or will they walk off at closing if there’s still a line? & they leave 30 minutes before park closes right? I just want to be sure we see them but at the best time. Thank you again & love your website. This is our 3rd trip with our 2 yr old and my first time using your site. Arrive at least 30 minutes before park opening and go straight there. Be RIGHT BEHIND the rope as it goes up the street. Follow it all the way up to the meet. They actually stay until park close, but they close the line early.
Just made my most valiant attempt to secure a fast pass for Elsa/Anna with 60 days away and they gave out all of them for our ONE day we’re there. So, hopefully before they close we can finish the day with meeting the ladies. Sucks big time. We did get good times for TInk, Cinderella/Repunzel and Ariel so I’ll have to start with the good news I guess when I tell my kiddo in the morning.
Okay thank you very much. Since I have to set up the fast passes tonight, I’m trying to set everything up around the Elsa&Anna meet and greet. For instance, if we get (hypothetically) a 11am meet n greet, we’ll hit up some characters in the area so we’re not running to the fairy tale hall to meet E&A. This site has been real helpful.

You site has been one of the best planning tools for my upcoming trip. I had a question about the Disney app. When I am actually in the park that day would it be accurate? I know you have said that if there are call outs certain characters may not appear so I was wondering about that. For example Marie hasn’t been listed on the Disney app all week and I wanted to get your thoughts
I don’t trust that app for character meets and it crashes a lot when I’m in the park, but you’re asking someone who has a bias because my app is better for anything scheduled at WDW and the cost is currently the same as a snack item. I use their mobile site for my Fastpass adjustments in park too.
Is there a time during the day that a character rarely gets heavy lines that you most likely wouldn’t have to burn a fast pass? Can’t decide if we want to meet Elsa and Anna in the morning (FP+) after Merida or jet over to Enchanted Tales with Bell to use our first FP+
FP for Anna and Elsa or go at park open or close. Enchanted Tales is really easy to enter later at night.

If you don’t have FP+ for Anna and Elsa, you should go there either at park opening or park closing or wait in a really long line. Merida is best to meet at park opening. You can FP+ the others easily. All schedules are on http://www.characterlocator.com

Also, I am having reservations about eating at 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian for the Cinderella meal as Prince Charming would be the only unique character there, and he can also be seen in the parade. Would you recommend this meal?
Finally, do Santa and Mrs Claus meet throughout the day at Epcot during Holiday season? How long is their usual wait time and do they sound autographs?

No, that’s why she isn’t listed. 1900 PF is a fun meal because the Tremaines join them. Yes, and Santa usually has an hour line. Schedules are posted closer to the date.

First of all, love your site! One quick question, I am going in about a week and MK has a 7am Extra Magic Hour. I know A&E and Ariel will be there right at 7 (I plan to hit them in that order :) but would the time for Merida to start still be at 9:15? I was hoping to fit in a few rides while the lines were low before I go line up for her. (Trying to hit as many princesses as I can!)
Merida’s start time never changes. Arrive 30 minutes before she does.

I’ve secured fast pass selections for all of our “must” see character experiences but have noticed that when I search on the official Disney site (www.disneyworld.com) for the “Character Experiences” offered for our dates, it reads “schedule unavailable” on several of them. Hi! I see that you have locations on this site for both Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. I was chatting with a CM on Disney’s site and I specifically asked them if these two characters had thier own meet and greet in MK. The CM said “no, but they sometimes join Cinderella and Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall. But that was not a guarentee”. I don’t see them on the My Disney Experience either. Why the descrepancy? Any clarification would be great. This will be our first trip (May 2015) and there is sooooo much I have to learn. Your site has been awsome!

Hi Kenny! Thanks for the great info! Any idea when they will be posting the May character meet times? We are going right at the beginning of the month, and we’re trying to figure out how we’ll fit in Merida, Tiana, and Gaston over two days at MK that are already packed with dining reservations, fast passes, and time back at our hotel so the toddlers can nap.
Disney doesn’t post times. I update times as they change. Don’t expect Merida, Tiana or Gaston to change to much though. You’ll need to arrive early for those sets.
What are Gaston’s meeting times? I have went on Disney’s site & under their entertainment section for the entire month of March the only time listed is 10am, is he not out later on in the day?

Park Fare would be guaranteed, but her line isn’t usually very long at MK and no line for the first meet at Epcot like my Epcot Touring plan shows.

Could be 30 minutes or the line could already be closed. Always arrive before the characters arrive.
Hi, kenny, we have had season passes for a long time now and i have ALWAYS wanted to meet peter pan but have never been able to catch him even following your schedule. Could you possibly give me a little more detail on when and where i can find him? our passes expire this week and we are going. I really want to meet him.

Last September we tried to see Merida, but we were told she wasn’t there because she was in the parade. Your times listed for her are long stretches. Is she out there most of the time that you have listed? I wasn’t sure if she was part of the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Thanks.

No, Wendy typically appears in Summer. Training in some sort happens almost every day, but could be in any of the places. We met Peter Pan at International Gateway at 4pm. Typically between 11-4. Welcome.

Depends on her schedule. If you hit the rotations correctly, then yes two in one line. There is always one line for them.
Is the line for Gaston usually long? How about Woody and Jesse? Thanks!
Gaston line can get long fast. Go a little before first meet. Woody/Jessie averages about 20 minutes so go before 1st or 2nd set

Rapunzel just popped in for a little while. Sometimes it happens when a character can’t appear. Ariel is a regular there.

First I want to thank you for what you do here, you’ve helped a lot of people get the most out of their Disney trip. Now that that’s out of the way I need to ask you if it would be a better idea to walk walk walk to Anna/Elsa when the rope drops, or would the train be a better option? We’re going to be there on the 18th of Jan 2015 and my daughter really wants to meet them.
Also, how many times are there cancellations for Be Our Guest usually. I’m trying but have had no luck so far. The last time we went we were able to jump on a cancellation for Cinderella’s Royal Table (great good fortune) but this time we may not be so lucky.

Train won’t get you there an it would take forever to get to Storybook Circus. Walk, walk, walk and be one of the first in. Be Our Guest cancellations are rare, but they do happen within a day or two of the meal that was planned.

It has Aurora is listed on the main MK schedule page as meeting in Main St / City hall – but when you click the link to go to her page it says she meets in FantasyLand at a wall there somewhere?

I noticed you updated the character schedule for Aladdin on 8/30/2014 (9:30-10, 10:20-11, 11:20-12, 12:20-1, 3:30-4:10). However, when I log on the Disney website and see what time Aladdin is at the MK for Monday, it says 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 6:10 PM. I’m wondering which is right? I understand that the 9:30-2 on the Disney site is intermittent, but what about the Disney site saying 6:10? Thanks!
I would never wait until late afternoon to meet them even if they were listed until 6:00. Meet them early in the day or visit them shortly before they return from break.
My girls are determined to meet Elsa and Anna at MK on October 14th, 2014 which your calender shows as a lighter day. We don’t have our tickets yet as they are being mailed. What is the best strategy for seeing them (and riding the new Mine ride in Fantasyland) on that day? My only thought is that we head straight back to them the second we enter the park but other then this I am not sure how to make sure they get to see the two of them!

Kenny – we have a group of ladies (Disney Divas) going in Oct. 2014. There is a specific lady that portrays Lady Tremaine that myself and my aunt have met on several occasions. I even got the privilege of riding on the carrousel with her! She is super hilarious and plays that part so well. Anyways – the other Divas going with us have yet to meet this particular Lady Tremaine – is there anyway to find out when she will be in the parks on the days we are there, so that they could meet her? I have thought about sending a letter with a few past past photos to Disney and see what they reply. But just wondering if you knew of another way. I would really like for the rest of my group to meet her!

We’re going to WDW at the end of October–low to moderate crowds. We’ll be at MK on a MNSSHP day to take advantage of the even lighter crowd. Does Merida’s line get long immediately? Until what time would you expect it to be 30 min or less? I don’t expect to be at rope drop, but I hope to be leaving Pop Century by 8:30 or 9. My 2 & 5 y.o. girls want to see her, but I don’t want to spend a big chunk of our morning touring time in line.
Merida’s line is always busy. I would meet her at rope drop and not use party time for her. I doubt it will be 30 or less after park opening.
Not sure if this was a rare sighting, but Rabbit was in Epcot yesterday in the UK in the Pooh meeting spot. No Pooh, just Tigger and Rabbit. After about 20 min, Rabbit left and was replaced by Pooh.
I would consider him uncommon. He appears occasionally in Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

We previously had FP for the evening to meet Rapunzel at MK on 2/23. Then, the FP disappeared. When I look at her hours on that day, they are 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM; 11:00 PM – 1:00 AM. Is it possible this is just a glitch when they added in the EMH times? That it should be 10:30 PM?

They close the line, then reopen it for emh. If no one is in line, they just keep it running
Thanks for the quick follow-up, but that was not my question :) It is showing that she closes at 10:30 AM… when ordinarily and on every other day with similar hours it is 10:30 PM. Is that likely a technical glitch?
Yes glitch should be pm. I just list it straight through on my app to avoid confusion

There is no more paper Fastpass, so nothing is “unconnected” any longer. Lines can get long at times during busier months. See him early, late or use FP+ It’s worth a FP+, if it’s important to you. and you want to see him mid-day

I was wondering if you had any insight on a couple of questions; 1) I read in a few different places (including the Disney app) that the dwarves are supposed to meet by the wall with a mural of doc and dopey in fantasyland; I have been there all different a times of day two days now and have yet to see hide or hair of a single dwarf. What gives? 2) I was lucky enough to get a super-early breakfast so we could be in line for Anna and Elsa (we were third) which was wonderful, but I was wondering if there were any plans for an Olaf or Kristof character any time soon?

Hi Kenny, my husband and I love your website! I had a few questions. I read that Periwinkle was no longer meeting regularly but then read that she replaced Terrance. Will she be around late April? Also, is it possible to get pictures and autographs with the Brer gang after or before the Hoedown?
Periwinkle is currently meeting with Tink. Not likely for April though. She’s a winter fairy. Rosetta met in spring last year

With MK opening at 7AM this week, how does that impact character greetings that normally start at park opening? Or that are open during EMH? For instance, you show Alice’s first shift at 8:30AM; would that move up to 7:30AM or stay as is? Thanks!
And another example: Ariel shows as being available from 8AM until midnight, but with the park being open today from 7AM until 3AM the WDW site shows her available from 7AM until 12:30AM, and then again from 1AM until 3AM. Will other characters have similarly expanded hours?
I added the 7:00am opening for ariel, aurora, cinderella, rapunzel and snow white and a note that they are opening for late extra Magic hours

We’re going to Orlando in 2 weeks and I’m trying to come up with a plan for character meet-and-greets. There seems to be duplicate characters at the parks. Are the lines shorter for Alice and Snow White at Magic Kingdom or Epcot?
Alice is pretty reasonable in either park. You can meet her with White Rabbit in Magic Kingdom, but the backdrop of Epcot is nicer. Snow White is better in Epcot, especially early in the day. She meets with Rapunzel in Magic Kingdom and lines can get pretty long unless you use Fastpass or Fastpass+
Hi Kenny. When the park opens at 8:00am (like on the day after Christmas) with an MEMH at 7:00am, what time do you think Merida will start meeting?

After I was done the Winnie the Pooh ride, I was just sitting around, Pooh & Tigger came to the character meet & greet. After a minute or two Rabbit came out. Got a picture of his backside close up, and his face faraway, as he was behind the crowd. Didn’t wanna wait in line as I already met Pooh & Tigger in Epcot. :D
Hi Kenny. Kenny, do you know where I can find Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh? I have the other Pooh characters: Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, and Darby, and I’d love to get Rabbit. I nearly got him 6 years ago and missed him twice. I hope he’ll be at Long Lost Friends week, and they should have Christopher Robin sometime. Another thing, I was checking out You Tube and saw that a few characters do meet and greets after the Beauty and the Beast musical. I think that Cogsworth, Lumeire, and Chip made an appearance. They used to alternate, but a couple months back they began meeting at the same time. You’ll usually find one by the castle and the other near the new wall.
We were at MK for early morning hours and they didn’t do the welcome show. It was our first day and I was so disappointed because we really wanted to see it. When I asked a cast member about it they said they don’t do it on mornings when they open early for resort guests. I don’t know if this is a recent change but given that most parks have cut down or cut out their shows all together I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. MK is the only park left that still does a real show.
You arrived BEFORE extra magic hours? I’ve never heard of this supposed new policy that the cast member presented you. Welcome Show occurs every day before the park’s FIRST opening time. It’s on the Entertainment > Magic Kingdom Entertainment Schedule.
I don’t think we were before the first opening, just before the opening to the public. Sounds like that was the problem, thanks for clearing things up!!! :)

Hi i have just found your site and absolutely thrilled its a fantastic site…. We are of to Disney in Sept this year (2013) it is our first ever trip and hoping to do as much as we physically can. We have 4 children 12,9 and twins 7 our eldest is disabled. can you help on the characters (were is the best to meet them) . we want to meet as many as we can however there is some that is a must …. mostly they are the characters from all the films so ..all prince, princesses, toystory. cars. mickey, minnie and their friends (donald, pluto, goofy ,etc)

Only way to meet all the princess is to attend the Halloween party too.
I don’t know if it was the heat or what, but Peter Pan only met in the morning on Thursday, June 13th, and the Fairy Godmother did not come at her 9:20 schedule on June 7th. The heat and humidity were miserable this week, so the lines seemed to be cut short on some of the character meets from our experience this past week.
I guess I should say that Peter didn’t meet from 11 a.m. or later on June 13th.

What about Belle and the Beast? Where will they be? And will Peter Pan still be by Peter Pan’s flight at those times? I made shoes with the Beauty and the Beast theme and the Peter Pan theme so I want them to see them and sign them!

I have heard that Peter Pan moved to Adventureland by the Adventureland Bridge, and I was planning on trying to meet him. Do you know if this is true or not?
He used to be in Adventureland, but moved to Fantasyland when Wendy rejoined him. Schedules and locations here are accurate and date provided when i update.

Schedules can change frequently and often change with seasons. This is also no guarantee a certain character will stay in the rotation.

No, just similar areas. Sometimes the may appear behind castle and sometimes by the wall. Depends on shade.

Just thought I’d point out, you have the Cinderella’s Royal Table characters listed for the Crystal Palace as well. I almost had a heart attack thinking they’d switched out the Winnie the Pooh characters. (I’m surprising my best friend with breakfast there on our trip and she’d be heartbroken not to see Tigger)

Lately they have been meeting after the Hoedown, but there’s no guarantees, especially in hot weather.

Do you know where the Magic Kingdom Welcome show happens?
Is it inside the park once you enter after buying the ticket or can it be seen from outside at the gate without entering?
Reason I ask is because I am staying off-site and the day I am going they have EMH so the show wil be 1 hour earlier.
If it is inside the park, no point going early because I wont be able to enter without a Disney resort id.
However, once in there, I dont think they will kick us out at 9pm when evening EMH begins.
But I read somewhere they dont let you go on any rides without a resort id. are they really strict about it?
Do you think I will be able to do anything during the evening EMH?

It’s always 10 minutes before the earliest park opening time. It doesn’t repeat on EMH days, just the one before EMH begins. It’s on the SHOW Schedules on the top of the blog.

It’s shown at the Train Station where the Mickey Floral is, but not sure why you’d want to see it from there. If you’re going on and EVENING EMH day, the start the show at 8:50 for everyone. If you are going on a MORNING EMH day they start the show at 7:50, but it’s only for resort guests because non resort guests can’t board the monorail until regular hours.
They won’t kick you out for Evening EMH, but you won’t be allowed to ride anything. They are very strict. All you’ll be able to do is walk around and take photos.

Sort by name, land and next meet will be possible in new app, and site to come, but not here. It’s just too much work to maintain at the moment. Perhaps in the future.

We were at MK on Monday & saw Tigger & Pooh outside the Winnie the Pooh ride. But by the time my 4 yo plucked up the courage to go meet them they were done for the day. Going back tonight (Wed) for parade & fireworks & hoped to get there a little early to see them, but checked the schedule on the MyDisney app and T & P aren’t mentioned! Do they appear every day or is it their day off?!? Thanks

Magic Kingdom Welcome show happens every day about 10 minutes before the earliest opening time. You won’t see all the characters, but there are many that appear. Not a meet and greet, just a small show.

We are going to Disney World very soon and I have 3 girls that will probably want to see every single princess (yeah, good luck us ;-)).
I’m still kind of confused with how to meet them. You said there is a fastpass for meeting them right at the entrance? But they are also all around Magic Kingdom? So I could either get the fastpass and see them all at once or I have to wait in line at every single one throughout the park?

Fastpass at MK is only for Rapunzel, Cinderella and Aurora. (And Mickey with separate FP) Snow White, Mary Poppins, Merida, Tiana, Jasmine can also be met in MK Epcot is a nice place to meet them and I have a plan for those on the blog Pocahontas is only at Animal Kingdom

I was watching the live show yesterday at MK of Kelly and Michael and there was something I have never seen before?! A Dumbo!!! A walking blinking adorable Dumbo!!! Have you seen this before?! Is it going to be doing a meet and greet?! Also there was the blinking talking Mickey. Lease let me know if can find anything out about this Dumbo!! I need to meet him!!!

He was first introduced at the Grand Opening of New Fantasyland in December on the Castle stage, but hasn’t been out since. He’s pretty awesome looking and I wish I had been there to get photos while he was leaving the stage :( Talking Mickey has been around a couple of years, they use him in the Castle stage show daily and the Welcome Show. He’s been meetable a few times on rare occasions and may appear some this summer.
When we were at MK a couple of months ago we wanted to see Tink and Periwinkle. We waited in line first thing after MK opened. When we got in only Tink was in there with no other fairy. We are going to be there again this weekend and hope to see Periwinkle, but don’t want to wait in line if she isn’t going to be there again. Was that normal for Tink to be alone first thing in the morning or was something strange just happening?

Fairy Godmother and the Tremaine Family no longer meet behind the castle. They now meet at the entrance to new Fantasyland. Learned that one today the hard way! Waited around for Fairy Godmother until she was 30 min late and someone finally figured out she had moved locations.
That’s temporary while they remove lights from castle. They are all behind castle, just next to new wall
Good to know! The lady that was waiting next to us started crying bc she missed her. I just came back later to the correct location. Not anything to get that upset about.
