Magic Kingdom is a "must-do" for many families visiting Walt Disney World, but this park is priced the highest of all 4 Theme Parks for a single-day ticket.

Along with this, the price for the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass is typically the most expensive for Magic Kingdom as well. Since guests are paying a premium price for a day at the Magic Kingdom, you will want to select the best possible date to enjoy all of the magic.

Our Kenny the Pirate writing team updates you with the latest news on Disney's theme parks. The park hours initially provided by Disney can help you prepare for your visit, but they often change as the dates get closer. You can check Park Hours for the week of August 16th HERE.

Heading into this fall, the opportunity to enjoy the Disney Starlight parade and Happily Ever After decreases. As we mentioned before, Disney Starlight will not offer showtimes on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party nights.

In previous years, we recommended visiting the Magic Kingdom on party dates to enjoy lower crowds, but if you are hoping to enjoy the Disney Starlight parade, this may not be the best strategy.

You can see all of the dates when the Magic Kingdom will close at 6:00 pm and will not offer nighttime entertainment for day guests on these dates.

Tuesday, August 25 and Friday, August 28, are the worst day to visit as Magic Kingdom. On both of these dates, Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 pm for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but still opens at 9:00 am (Early Entry at 8:30 am).
