This EPCOT Table-Service Restaurant To Temporarily Close
Disney has just announced that one of EPCOT's table-service restaurants will temporarily close. Get the details.
Coral Reef Restaurant

Coral Reef Restaurant is one of EPCOT's table-service choices located in World of Nature. Here you can enjoy dining with amazing views of a living coral reef. Guests can see over 2,000 sea creatures in the aquarium during their dining experience.
Earlier this year, Coral Reef Restaurant removed lunch as a dining option.
Late last year, we shared that Disney was eliminating lunch dining at the Coral Reef Restaurant. When the announcement was made it was unclear if the lunch option would return. Dinner continues to be the only dining option offered.
Temporarily Closing

Disney has announced that the Coral Reef Restaurant will temporarily close September 8, 2026. Disney has not announced what the closure is for.
The Coral Reef Restaurant will be temporarily closed beginning September 8, 2026.
It is possible that this closure is for a refurbishment, but could also be as simple as a seasonal closure.
What Does This Mean For You?

Disney has not shared when the restaurant will reopen. The only details that have been shared is that the restaurant "is expected to reopen later in 2026."
The Coral Reef Restaurant is expected to reopen later in 2026.
This closure could impact Guests who were hoping to dine here, if their trips are during the closure. It also could make some restaurants in EPCOT busier as there is one less dining option available. Be sure to book your dining reservations early if you have a must-do EPCOT location during this closure.
