Animal Kingdom Dining Evacuates All Guests

Guests sitting down to a delicious meal were immediately evacuated at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Find out what we know so far.

Emergency Warnings at Disney

Many dream of a trip to a Disney Park. Much planning, preparation, and saving go into a dream vacation. Even if the unexpected, like a rain shower, happens, many feel that a "rainy day at Disney is still better than a sunny day at home." Unfortunately, even the Walt Disney Company cannot create the ideal park day.

Florida has been hit pretty hard this year with record-low temps, a fog advisory, and even an extreme heat advisory.

Disney trains Cast Members in the "5 Keys" which help to provide the highest quality of hospitality to all guests. These include Safety, Courtesy, Inclusion, Show, and Efficiency. Safety is listed first and is vitally important to provide safety for all guests and fellow Cast Members.

Tiffins Evacuated

Until a few years ago, there really weren't a whole lot of options for Table Service restaurants at Animal Kingdom. When Tiffins opened, it filled the need to have a signature dining experience in the parks. 

Last night, June 29, 2026, as many Annual Passholders hoped to take advantage of 40% off dining at Tiffins for V.I.Passholder Days, they were swiftly evacuated from the restaurant.

One Guest shared a photo of her meal that she captured just prior to being evacuated from the restaurant.

Reasons for Tiffins Closure

A Cast Member shared that the mandatory evacuation was due to a power surge. Disney has not officially confirmed this reason for the evacuation.

Tiffins was evacuated on June 29, 2026.

Due to this occurring near park closing, Guests were told that Tiffins would not reopen for the evening. It is unclear if Tiffins will reopen for lunch at 11:30 am today.
