These Patriotic Disney Snacks are Red White and Blue-tiful
Are you looking to enjoy some patriotic goodies on your visit to Walt Disney World? If so, you are in luck!
Disney Celebrates America
This year is the 250th anniversary of America! And, Walt Disney World is in on the celebration!
Disney has already rolled out special offerings to celebrate this momentous 4th of July. For example, Soarin' Around the World has a special Soarin' Across America overlay.
Guests can already enjoy the overlay, and that's not all! There are special treats in store for visitors, too!
Treats at Resort Hotels
First up, there are some special decadent delights at various Disney Resort Hotels. Of course, it will be difficult to get them unless you are a guest of a Disney Resort hotel due to new restrictions on complimentary transportation. You can read about that HERE.
Enjoy Fourth of July Beignets at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. They are cinnamon sugar-dusted beignets with marshmallow sauce and apple pie filling, and they are decorated in red, white, and blue!
Or, head to Disney's Contemporary Resort for Fourth of July Cake, which is a strawberry and lemon mousse and confetti cake covered in a hard chocolate shell. And, over at Disney's BoardWalk, you can find a Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake, decorated with a festive pinwheel.
The fun doesn't stop there. Look for special treats at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Coronado, Beach Club, Fort Wilderness, and the Polynesian as well!
And there are treats that can be found at quick service locations throughout the resort, including a patriotic cinnamon roll and a cake pop!
Treats at the Theme Parks
Epcot will have patriotic treats, too. These include: S'morin' Across America Milk Shake at Sunshine Seasons, as well as a Sam Eagle Star-Spangled Shortcake and a non-alcoholic drink called the 1776 at Reagle Eagle Smokehouse!
Even more treats await in the theme parks.
A trio of treats can be found in the Magic Kingdom! Columbia Harbour House has a Berry Shortcake. And, Sleepy Hollo has a Red, White, and Blue Waffle and Funnel Cake!
