A Missing Magic Kingdom Attraction is Set to Reopen
If you are heading to the Magic Kingdom, you might be delighted to learn that another missing attraction is reopening this week! Here are all the exciting details.
Missing Magic in Disney World

The Magic Kingdom has been hit with numerous bouts of construction recently. We have been happy to see the return of attractions like Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland this year!
Of course, refurbishment also impacted Fantasyland. In March, several components of Storybook Circus closed for refurbishment.
These included popular candy shop/gift store Big Top Souvenirs as well as Pete's Silly Sideshow, a popular place to meet classic Disney characters. However, we now have some great reopening news!
Pete's Silly Sideshow

Pete's Silly Sideshow has been unavailable for several months. Even so, the characters, including Goofy and Minnie Mouse, have been spotted greeting Guests at outdoor locations in the meantime.
But soon, characters and Guests alike will be able to enjoy a little bit of refuge from the heat once again. Pete's Silly Sideshow is scheduled to return!
The attraction will reopen this week! You can expect to see it pop back up on June 26, 2026. The characters will return to their spots to pose for photos with guests and sign autographs.
What About Big Top Souvenirs

There is no reopening data avaliable for Big Top Souvenirs just yet. Guests will have to wait a little longer to have their favorite treats again.
Pete's Silly Sideshow will reopen June 26, 2026.
However, Big Top Souvenirs is expected to reopen later in 2026. Keep checking the blog for updates!
Are you excited to meet the characters at Pete's Silly Sideshow? Let us know. And be sure to share the news with your family and friends who have a visit to the Magic Kingdom planned.
