Disney World Places Tighter Restrictions On This Annual Pass - What You NEED to Know
Disney World has adjusted the wording for one Annual Pass. Find out what has changed.
Annual Passholders

Annual Passholders receive some great perks at Walt Disney World. They include special merchandise, dining discounts, magnets, preview events for new attractions, and sometimes a designated line into the park.
There are FOUR different types of Annual Passes available. The four types of passes available are the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, and Disney Pixie Dust Pass.
The Incred-Pass is available to everyone. The Pirate Pass and Pixie Dust Pass are only available to Florida Residents. The Sorcerer Pass is available to Florida Residents and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members.
Previous Sorcerer Pass Wording

Disney has changed the wording for one of its Annual Passes. The wording for Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members has now been changed. Here is what the website previously stated:
"To purchase the Disney Sorcerer Pass, Disney Vacation Club Members must be eligible for Membership Extras. Membership Extras are incidental benefits - these offers are subject to availability, change or termination and may require a fee."
This wording only stated that Members must be eligible for Membership Extras.
New Stricter Wording

Disney has now updated the wording to restrict access to only the eligible Members and their immediate family living in their household. See the updated wording below:
"To purchase the Disney Sorcerer Pass, Disney Vacation Club Members must be eligible for Membership Extras. Passes may only be purchased by eligible Members for themselves and their immediate family living in their household, up to a total of eight (8) per year. Annual pass offers are not part of the ownership interest and are an incidental benefit subject to availability, change or termination."
This new change has closed any loop hole of Members purchasing passes for extended family members.
