Dates to Avoid Visiting Disney World This Spring
You definitely want to plan ahead before visiting Walt Disney World this spring. Check out the worst days to visit Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
Dates to Avoid EPCOT

Today marks the start of the International Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT. This is a very popular festival, and weekends tend to be quite busy. In large part due to popular bands scheduled for the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
You may want to plan your visit to EPCOT during the week to avoid big crowds. Also affecting EPCOT is the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend.
Springtime Surprise will consist of a 5K on Friday, April 17th, a 10K on April 18th, and a 10 miler on Sunday, April 18th. Please note, EPCOT will open an hour later on Sunday, April 18th, due to this race. Early Entry shifts from 9:30 to 10:00 am, with official park opening at 10:00 am.
Dates to Avoid Magic Kingdom this Spring

Magic Kingdom is a "must-do" for many families visiting Walt Disney World, but there is one date when you may want to avoid it.
Magic Kingdom is set to close early on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 5:30 pm for a private event hosted by SAP Sapphire & ASUG for their annual conference.
Guests can enjoy possible lower wait times; however,Happily Ever After fireworks and the new Disney Starlight nighttime parade are not offered on party nights.
Easter Crowds

Walt Disney World offers great holiday activities throughout the year, and Easter is no exception. Guests can enjoy beautiful egg displays select Walt Disney World Resorts.
Magic Kingdom set to close early on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
At Magic Kingdom, guests can meet Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit and enjoy the vibrant Easter Parade. This is a "must-do" for many Disney fans. You can expect higher crowds at Walt Disney World Parks and in particular Magic Kingdom on April 3rd through April 5th.
