EPCOT Looks Much Different Today
We weren't expecting to see these changes today at EPCOT. Do you think this takes away from the overall atmosphere of the park?
Changes at EPCOT

EPCOT, the acronym, was coined by Walt Disney in 1966. Standing for "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow." To this day, it's clear that two words in that acronym are still of huge importance: "community" and "tomorrow".
There is so much to enjoy at EPCOT, from great attractions to unique cultural experiences.
Throughout the year, EPCOT hosts a variety of festivals. Currently, Guests can enjoy the Festival of the Arts through February 23, 2026.
EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival

As Guests hope to enjoy the final days of the Festival of the Arts, Cast Members prepare for the next festival, the International Flower and Garden Festival.
Flower and Garden is officially slated to be in full bloom from March 4 to June 1, 2026. You can check full details for this upcoming festival HERE.

Topiaries are already popping up around EPCOT. Recently, we spotted a topiary from the animated classic Bambi and also Phineas & Ferb.
EPCOT Butterfly Landing

Many Guests enjoy these surprise topiaries in the middle of the International Festival of the Arts; however, many Guests do not like the large construction underway for the Butterfly Landing.
Large construction underway for Butterfly Landing at EPCOT.
As pictured above, this construction is less than magical. We all understand that preparations must be made for the International Flower and Garden Festival. However, it feels odd to see so much work taking place while Guests are still trying to enjoy the last few days of the International Festival of the Arts.
We saw similar preparations back in December as EPCOT prepared for the International Festival of the Arts while the International Festival of the Holidays was underway.
Do you think EPCOT should space out festivals more to not have such overlap? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
