If you have someone in your Walt Disney World travel party who loves Zootopia, chances are they will want to check out the new Zootopia show in Disney's Animal Kingdom. And they may also want to try some Zootopia-themed snacks, too!

Disney is now offering a fun new Zootopia popcorn bucket. Once it is empty, you can refill it again and again for $2.

And there are also some drinks and a snack for you to try. Heather first wrote about them HERE.

As soon as I (Kate) read Heather's snack announcement to my family, my little one added Clawhauser's Big Donut Macaron to her Disney wish list. We had a chance to try it on our most recent visit!

This treat is a macaron filled with chocolate ganache, strawberry jelly, and covered in chocolate glaze with rainbow sprinkles. It is a decent size and fills an entire dessert place, so it is shareable if you only want a little dessert.

You can find it at the Isle of Java in Disney's Animal Kingdom. This is across the way from the entrance to the Zootopia show, near the gift shop.

Is it Delicious

My family and I all thought Clawhauser's Big Donut Macaron was pretty good! I wouldn't call it a must-have, and it is not something I dream of. However, my little girl loved it and wants to have it again someday.

It is definitely more like a macaron in consistency than a donut. In fact, I wouldn't say it is much like a donut at all, aside from the fact that it is decorated to resemble one.

It is not a heavy dessert. It is somewhat airy and chocolately. The jelly is sweet, not sickeningly sweet, and it provides a nice contrast to the chocolate. It is a little messy to eat, and it is pretty sticky, so be mindful of that.

Overall, I do think it was worth a try, but if you are hoping for a donut, this is not what you are looking for.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Katie's favorite park is Animal Kingdom. Her Disney loves include Disney mugs, Dole Whips, POG Juice, the Electrical Water Pageant, Chai Lattes from Joffrey's, and all the Disney Parks music!
