Unexpected Experience at Disney's Animal Kingdom
This is so disappointing for guests visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom today. Find out which attraction is affected.
Disney Ride Closures

You have the best touring plans in place, and you are at the park for a rope drop only to discover that your top attractions are closed. Disney World rides close all the time. Severe weather, mechanical or technical malfunctions, and Guests doing the wrong thing can all shut an attraction down.
Oftentimes, the ride reopens when the weather passes or the issue gets fixed. However, sometimes it can also lead to a multi-day closure.
Ride closures not only affect that attraction but create a ripple effect as well. Higher wait times can be seen at other park attractions as guests scramble to revamp their touring plans.
Zootopia Better Zoogether

Disney's Animal Kingdom was the last Theme Park completed at Walt Disney World. It has changed quite a bit over the years, but this year the park is experiencing big changes.
Currently, DinoLand USA is closing in phases, with the entire land closing in February 2026. Another change for Disney's Animal Kingdom is the new "Zootopia Better Zoogether" show.
This new attraction is the top of many guests' touring plans, but unfortunately, that is a bit challenging today.
Animal Kingdom Closure

Today, our very own KatieP was hoping to enjoy "Zootopia Better Zoogether." She was held in line for about 30 minutes and was later evacuated from the queue for this attraction.
"Zootopia Better Zoogether" was temporarily closed for about 30 minutes today.
"Zootopia Better Zoogether" was listed as temporarily unavailable on the My Disney Experience app. Thankfully guests that were evacuated were given a Multiple Experience pass to enjoy select other attractions.
When the attraction reopened the Benjamin Clawhauser was not operating. Thankfully, the show went on even without this fun, furry character.
