Magic Kingdom Makes Big Operational Changes This Week
Warning for guests visiting Magic Kingdom! Disney just made two changes to park operations, and we think we know the reason why.
Christmas at Disney World

The holiday season is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. There's something extra magical about being at Disney World during the holiday season.
Disney offers ALL the Christmas decorations, characters in unique costumes, great entertainment, and festive meals.
This year, Disney's Hollywood Studios will also offer two brand-new shows for guests to enjoy.
Magic Kingdom Shows Canceled

One holiday show that guests enjoy year after year is the "Frozen Holiday Surprise". This 7-minute show will have Guests delighted as Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and over 100 of his snowgie siblings add garlands, ornaments, wreaths, and more to Cinderella Castle.
The first showtime listed is this Friday, November 7, 2025, for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Disney has canceled showtimes on both Saturday, November 8th, and Sunday, November 9th.
Showtimes return on Monday, November 10, 2025, and are offered daily through December 31, 2025.
Magic Kingdom Holiday Filming

Although Disney has not confirmed holiday filming dates at the Magic Kingdom, this is yet another indication that holiday filming may take place on November 8th and 9th.
Frozen Holiday Surprise is canceled on both November 8th and 9th, 2025.
As we shared earlier, there are no showtimes for the Festival of Fantasy Parade on these dates. For Magic Kingdom to cancel multiple shows, we suspect holiday filming is to blame.
