Casey’s Corner Pianist
Have you ever spent time enjoying a nice mid-morning or afternoon stroll down Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World? If so, then you have probably heard the clip clop of horses’ hooves and the sound of lively piano music filling the air!
If you head to Casey’s Corner on Main Street, you will find the source of the magical music. Each day, the Casey’s Corner Pianist, a highly skilled musician, entertains guests with the most magical tunes on Earth!
The pianist plays several sets each day, and while times vary, the first set typically begins around 10:50 and the last one begins around 4:50. Disney’s website lists the exact showtimes. Also, know that the pianist does not perform during parades, cavalcades, or stage shows. If you are lucky enough to catch a set, you will be dazzled by the talent you witness as Disney’s pianists can play practically anything you request from memory.
A Disney Legacy
While each Casey’s Corner Pianist is talented, many fans have a favorite pianist called Grayson. You may have heard him play yourself. And, this week, Disney awarded Grayson the highest honor a Cast Member can receive.
The Legacy Award celebrates Walt Disney’s legacy by acknowledging outstanding cast, crew, and Walt Disney Imagineers worldwide. This global recognition program is inspired by Walt’s personal example and lasting legacy.
The award is reserved for rare individuals who exemplify all three of the Legacy qualities: Dream, Create, and Inspire. Recipients receive a special blue nametag! Surely every guest who has enjoyed the music at Casey’s Corner can agree that this is a well-deserved honor.

My family and I were lucky to see the Disney Legacy Award recipient play recently. We requested a song from Mary Poppins, and he told us he would play them all! He proceeded to play a medley that ended with a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious tune! You can see the finale here!
