We have our first pictures of the new Disney Starlight nighttime parade heading down Main Street USA. Find out when testing is taking place for this new parade.
Disney Starlight Opening

“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade will debut on July 20th at Magic Kingdom. Due to the overwhelming popularity of this parade, Disney made changes to Park Reservations. Find out how this will affect your trip HERE.
As we hoped, there will be 2 showtimes nightly for this parade at both 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm. As stated before, this will also change the showtimes for Happily Ever After starting in July.
Last week, Walt Disney Imagineering shared our first look at the finale float and introduced the newest Disney character, “Whimsy”. This is the name of the train for the finale float, which is said to be made entirely out of stardust. You can check out this sneak peek HERE.
Disney Starlight Testing

Much work is completed in the Disney Parks after the last guests exit for the night and before the first guests enter the park the next day. From maintenance to holiday decorating, this is a busy time for Cast Members.
Walt Disney World President, Jeff Vahle, shares, “Early this morning, I visited our talented parade Cast Members for a rehearsal of Disney Starlight at Magic Kingdom.”
“I have such amazing memories of nighttime parades at our parks all around the world, and I am so excited for that experience to return to Walt Disney World. I hope you enjoy Disney Starlight as much as I do!”
It is so exciting to see the floats on Main Street USA in the photos shared by Jeff Vahle on his Instagram page:
