Magic Kingdom Changes Main Street Ahead of New Parade

The countdown is on for Magic Kingdom’s newest nighttime parade, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.” See how Main Street has changed for this new parade.

Disney is bringing the “cool” to “Cool Kid Summer” this year with limited-time summer activities throughout Walt Disney World, now through September 1, 2025. Check out our full guide to these activities HERE.

New entertainment debuts this summer at Walt Disney World. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, both “Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After” and “The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure” opened, and soon a new nighttime parade will debut at the Magic Kingdom on July 20, 2025.

Disney anticipates BIG crowds for the opening of the “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade. Big changes were made to the Park Reservation system. Read more about this change HERE. The other big change is now found along Main Street, USA.

Changes to Main Street USA

Main Street just got a little more congested as Magic Kingdom prepares for big viewing crowds for the “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” parade. Previously, guests could purchase personalized gifts of painted parasols and unique caricatures in Liberty Square.

The painted parasol kiosk was once located next to the Sleep Hollow quick service. While the caricature kiosk was located adjacent to Sleepy Hollow.

Now, both the painted parasols and caricatures have moved to Main Street, USA, alongside the kiosk to have personalized silhouettes created. This is located in a small side street to the right when facing Cinderella Castle.

As we hoped, there will be 2 showtimes nightly for this parade at both 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm. As stated before, this will also change the showtimes for Happily Ever After starting in July.
