New Changes

The Princess Half Marathon Weekend registration did not open on time. When the registration page did open, athletes were welcomed to a new page! It was a teal page announcing registration wasn’t open yet, but it would autorefresh or you could refresh it on your own. You can see the new page in the image below.

This new page also instructed others who were not registering for the Princess Half Marathon Weekend to visit at a later time. When the queue opened, athletes were redirected to the queue webpage.
Those hoping to register for the Princess Half Marathon Weekend yesterday were met with a new page.
Some athletes were met with frustration when they were stuck on this new teal page which continued to state that registration was not open, while others were able to enter the queue and register!
What We Still Think runDisney Needs

runDisney registration can be more stressful than training AND completing the actual race events. It is a sport all on its own. The events sell out quickly, so you must be ready as soon as the registration window opens.
However, that’s not the only stressful part. Unfortunately, runDisney athletes know that registration day does not always go smoothly with the website sometimes having technical issues.

We would love to see runDisney hold your cart so you can complete the registration form or reduce the questions and ask them at another time. Some of the questions included in registration ask if you are a Cast Member, Annual Passholder, or DVC Member. Answering yes to any of these does not give any benefit (discount or early access to registration) to athletes. See what other changes we would like to see HERE.
All of the distance events have sold out for the weekend, but at the time of this writing the Yoga at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is still available. Hoping to still get in for a runDisney event this race season? Check out the registration date for the 2026 Springtime Surprise HERE.
