There is nothing like fireworks to end the perfect day at Walt Disney World, but guests are now being notified that this show is canceled. Find out the full details.
Disney World Entertainment

Nobody does nighttime entertainment quite like Walt Disney World. With Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom, Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Luminous at EPCOT, there is so much to enjoy as the sun sets.
Unfortunately, Disney’s Animal Kingdom does not offer a nighttime show anymore. Rivers of Light was once offered in this park, but had its final showing in March 2020 when all Disney Parks closed.
All other nighttime entertainment returned, except Rivers of Light. Disney’s Animal Kingdom also offers the earliest park closures to help care for the animals.
Fireworks Canceled

Disney tries very hard to deliver entertainment consistently. Many times, cancellations are due to weather, and the final decision to cancel a show will come just moments before showtime.
Guests at EPCOT are now being notified that Luminous: The Symphony of Us is canceled for this evening. The show was to begin at 9:00 pm, as it does every night. Tonight, May 20, guests received a push notification through the My Disney Experience app at 8:10 pm.
“Tonight’s presentation of Luminious: The Symphony of Us has been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
Stay up to date

The temperatures have been quite high at Walt Disney World today, but there are no severe storms or lightning in the area. As far as we know, both Fantasmic! and Happily Ever After will still delight guests this evening.
Luminous was canceled this evening at EPCOT.
This is disappointing for guests visiting EPCOT today. Be sure to follow along with Kenny the Pirate and the Character Locator for updates while you plan your Disney vacation and while you are in the parks.
