The Disney castle is one of the world’s most recognizable icons. Here is a peek at its brand new look! How do you like the updates?
A Major Disney Milestone

The Walt Disney Company is gearing up to celebrate a major milestone! Soon, it will have been 70 years since Disney opened up a whole new world of magic to the public by welcoming guests to its very first theme park!
This momentous celebration will be met with all kinds of fun! And part of the fun is a new look for the iconic Disney Castle at the center of it all!
Of course, there is also a parade to look forward to as well as an all-new World of Color show! And the Jonas Brothers are even recording an all-new song for the occasion!
What Does the Disney Castle Look Like Now

The celebration has not quite started. However, Disneyland Park has already unveiled the new look for Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The castle is adorned with all-new decorations. These include a Disneyland 70th Anniversary medallion!
You will also notice other nice accents. It all complements the castle’s color scheme for an updated look that doesn’t completely change its overall vibe.
Is it a Good Change?

Any time Disney changes anything that harbors nostalgia, the change can bring up controversy. For example, many people did not like it when Walt Disney World said, “make it pink!” and applied a new paint job to its castle in anticipation of the 50th anniversary. While some fell in love with the new look and can’t imagine it any other way, others would like to see it return to its former color scheme.
Do you like the change to the Disney castle?
However, this update to the castle in Disneyland is more of an enhancement than a drastic makeover. Hopefully, there will also be a way to add the gorgeous Disneyland Christmas Lights for the holiday season.
