You may have heard of Gideon’s Bakehouse. This ghoulishly delightful bakery in Disney Springs offers HUGE super soft cookies, cake slices, and cold brews. The regular menu is stacked with goodies, and each month, special edition treats make it even harder to choose what to indulge in.

At the start of each month, there are new decadent delights to be had at the Walt Disney World resort. These delicious monthly offerings are one of the best reasons to go to Disney Springs!

Even the regular menu is stacked with goodies. This means that the monthly special edition treats make it even harder to choose what to indulge in.

This month the new cookie is the Carrot Cake Cookie. The cookie is a half-pound of flavorful spices, rich molasses, and finely chopped carrots. It is completely covered with house-made candied pecans and a drizzle of decadent carrot cream cheese glaze.

You can get them every day in April while supplies last. Remember purchases are limited to 2 per person.

Gideon’s is known to be very popular with lines that can get long. However, they are very efficient and keep things moving. If the line does get too long, they move to a virtual line.

I arrived to Gideon’s on a weekday, soon after they opened and had a minimal weight (less than 20 minutes). Once I received my cookie, I had to try it! This was a hefty cookie, and one that I couldn’t eat in one sitting.

The cookie had a crunchy outside, but the inside was soft and doughy making the perfect combination. The spices were flavorful throughout and the drizzle of carrot cream cheese glaze was the perfect touch of sweetness on top. There were even some white chocolate chips inside. This cookie was excellent and I give it a 10/10 and believe it is worth the wait in line!
