Wreck-It Ralph is getting an attraction at one Disney park! After over a decade, Guests will finally be immersed in the movies. Get all the details for this new ride right here.
Wreck-It Ralph
Wreck-It Ralph is an adorable “villain” who doesn’t want to be the villain anymore. He wants to win the medal from Hero’s Duty so he can earn the respect he deserves.
But, Vanellope von Scweetz has other ideas because she wants the medal, too! The two then set off to make both of their dreams become a reality.
Ralph and Vanellope have made their way to the Disney parks with meet and greets and appearances in parades. Many have even petitioned to have the Tomorrowland Speedway rethemed to Wreck-It Ralph.
New Attraction
While dreams of riding around the Sugar Rush racetrack have not happened, one Disney Park is getting its own Wreck-It Ralph attraction!
Tokyo Disney Resort just announced an attraction based on Wreck-It Ralph and the Sugar Rush racing game. It is set to open in 2026!
However, there is a bit of sad news that accompanies these plans for the new attraction.
When One Opens, Another Closes
The Wreck-It Ralph attraction will take over the Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters attraction and nearby gift shop. That will close in October of this year (2024).
A Wreck-It Ralph attraction will replace Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters at Tokyo Disney.
I don’t know about you, but I would love to see the same happen at the Magic Kingdom. We already have a whole land dedicated to Toy Story at Hollywood Studios, and Tomorrowland is in desperate need of a refresh (other than TRON).

Yes, the Buzz Lightyear ride at the Magic Kingdom is old and hardly ever works when I ride it. It would be nice to have a Wreck-It-Ralph ride!
