Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! As we get closer to the opening, we’re thrilled to announce new characters you’ll experience when you ride it.
Tiana’s Music
Princess Tiana is organizing a party in the bayou, but Prince Naveen and Louis have made a mistake with the music arrangements. As a result, Tiana needs to find a band for her party.
New musical characters are being added to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
To complete their Mardi Gras celebration, Tiana and Louis will go into the bayou to look for musical talent.
New Friends
During the first character visit, you’ll see a group of critter musicians playing a version of “Gonna Take You There” from “The Princess and the Frog.” The music is played on creative instruments made from natural and collected objects.
First, Byhalia the Beaver is the band’s percussionist and helps build musical instruments using natural materials. Gritty the Rabbit plays the washboard and loves to dig deeper to help others. Then, Beau the Opossum plays the upright gourd bass and plucks out the low notes.
Apollo the Raccoon transforms abandoned objects into musical art, while Rufus the Turtle jumps into rhythm with his harmonica. Timoléon the Otter is the eldest of the group and plays the fiddle.
Creation of Characters
Laura West, a lead concept designer with Walt Disney Imagineering, carefully crafted the brand-new characters in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios.
The Imagineers and partners who brought these charming animals to life are innovative and talented.
As Tiana’s Bayou Adventure gets closer to opening, it’s exciting to see all of the cool details being released.
