Something Big is Missing from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Something Big is Missing from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

We headed over to the Bayou this morning, and we noticed big changes with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Could this mean an opening timeline will be announced soon?

At Walt Disney World, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is on a fast track for opening. Disney shared a new opening timeline for this attraction for Summer 2024.

On Friday, we spotted new signage indicating that ride testing is taking place. This was a pretty good indicator that the next phase of attraction testing would begin.

As we hoped, Imagineers were the first to begin ride testing that afternoon. To see people once again squeal in delight at this infamous drop, is music to our ears.

This morning as we journeyed through Frontierland, we noticed big changes at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The once towering construction walls disappeared around this attraction.

Replacing the construction walls are now rows of bushes and one wall along the main entrance to this attraction. This is a BIG sign that we are “Almost There!”

As many Disney fans know, Dinsey Parks loves to bring in temporary bushes as projects near completion. A row of bushes now stands along the Cast Member entrance to Big Thunder Thunder Mountain Railroad. These may be in use for future attraction previews.

Changes to the Gift Shop

Changes are also visible at what was formerly the Briar Patch gift shop. The entrance remains covered with a construction wall and the windows are covered.

These are positive signs that this attraction is on the fast track to completion. Many have speculated when a Summer 2024 opening may be. With these big changes, we hope that this attraction may open in the early part of the summer.
