Can you believe it has almost been a year since Universal has opened Super Nintendo World? Universal has some special ways that it will be celebrating!
Super Nintendo World
On February 17, 2023 Universal Studios Hollywood opened Super Nintendo World! This fun new world includes Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Character meet and greets, shopping and dining and event Power Bands.
Reservations to enter Super Nintendo World are not always required, but it is important to check the day you plan to visit if a Virtual Line reservation is needed. Guests that have VIP privileges or Universal Express will be able to enter the land reservation-free once per day on days that reservations are required.
Power Up Band
Universal is celebrating the 1-year anniversary with a special-release Golden Power Up Band! Guests can purchase this Golden Power Up Band starting February 17, 2024.
The Golden Power Up Band will be available for sale starting February 17, 2024 at any Super Nintendo World retail location inside of the Park.
This Power Up Band is only available while supplies last. The band can be purchased at any Super Nintendo World retail location inside the Park.
Complimentary Button
Another way that Universal is celebrating the 1-Year Anniversary is with a special complimentary button! You can see a picture of the button above.
Complimentary 1-Year Anniversary button is available to guests at Guest Relations inside of the Park on February 17, 2024.
The button will be available to guests on February 17, 2024. Guests can find the button at Guest Relations inside the Park. Only one complimentary button per Guest, and valid theme park park admission is required. This is a first-come first-served item, so I would expect these buttons to go fast!
New Addition
A new Super Mario themed restaurant is opening as well! On February 15, 2024 Universal Studios Hollywood guests can an enjoy new food offerings at the Power Up Cafe.
The Power Up Cafe is a Super Mario themed restaurant. It is located on New York Street on the Upper Lot. Guests will find fun food selections that are themed to Power-Ups like the Super Mushroom. Check out the full menu HERE.
With all this exciting news in Universal Studios Hollywood, I can’t wait for Epic Universe to open in Orlando!
