Disney Vacation Club at The Fort
Last year, Disney Vacation Club announced that they would be expanding! This new resort, The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, will offer 350 cabins that will “bring refreshed cabin hideaways.”
With this announcement came proposals for walking trail enhancement, pool and expanded dining experiences at both Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern. Check out the announcement HERE.
These cabins will take the place of the existing cabins that are at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground (also known to many as The Fort). You can see a review of the current cabins HERE.
This DVC resort will be the 17th Disney Vacation Club Resort and is projected to open in July 1, 2024. Find out when you can buy points and book at this new DVC resort HERE. At this time, there is no date for when the general public can book a cash stay.

These private one-bedroom cabins will offer all the comforts of home. Each cabin will sleep six and some will even be dog-friendly! The kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, convection/microwave oven and 2 countertop burners.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will sure to give your family a magical and relaxing vacation, while still only being steps away from the magic.
It is important to note that the cabins are unlike other DVC one bedrooms, as this one bedroom will not have a washer or dryer in the room.

Points Chart
DVC has released the 2024 and 2025 Points Chart for these new cabins, and they are surprisingly affordable! I (Heather) was very excited to see these rates, as this somewhere I will want to stay.
The unique one bedroom cabins start as low as 15 points per night! You read that right, you can stay here for as low as some studios! Here is the Points Chart for 2024:

Looking at the two charts, not much changes between 2024 and 2025 except another travel period due to the cabins being open the entire year in 2025. I am can’t wait to see these new DVC cabins open, and even more excited that they are affordable for most!
