During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP), dozens of characters and performers hit the parade route of Magic Kingdom for some magical Christmas fun.

Gingerbread Men, Toy Soldiers, and beloved Disney characters float by against the backdrop of festive music and “snoap”. The 25-minute parade is only presented on select nights in November and December.

It’s just one of many offerings during MVMCP. The parade is a must-do for many, myself included! I am also a fan of the fireworks, holiday overlays, and exclusive characters!

Is your party night already sold out? Will you not be purchasing tickets? There is a way you can see this magical parade WITHOUT a park ticket.

As we shared earlier, holiday filming will take place at Magic Kingdom next weekend. Filming for various holiday specials will take place on November 11 and 12. You can see the full schedule here.

If you don’t want to deal with the extra crowds and equipment, I recommend avoiding these days. However, if you want to catch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during the day, you will want to visit on November 12.

There will be two performances of the parade on November 12; one at 11:00 am and the other at 2:00 pm. Two performances will allow crews to capture all the content they need for shows and specials.

Once the final party ends later in December, the parade will also be presented during normal operating hours throughout the week of Christmas.
