Outstanding News for one of Disney’s Newest Movie Releases

Disney hasn’t had the greatest news at the box office lately. However, that is about to change!

Disney has several BIG movies in the theaters right now! Have you gone to see any?

Right now you can catch the live-action The Little Mermaid, Indiana Jones, and Disney and Pixar’s latest collaboration Elemental.

The new feature-length animated film Elemental has imaginations running wild. This is in part because Elemental takes place in a world devoid of humanity, much like Cars.

In Element City, the various fire, water, land, and air residents are made entirely from their own elements. They generally coexist parallel to one another. However, when firey Ember and a splashing fellow called Wade come together, their journey helps them discover all they have in common.

However, this movie did not do as well as Disney had hoped during its opening weekend. Check out the numbers HERE.

Biggest Hit Since How Long?

Even though Elemental didn’t come busting out of the gates and reach chart topping numbers, it appears it may have the endurance to go the distance! On its 4th weekend in the theaters, it made $10m. This brings the US total to $109m, and is JUST a 17% drop from last weekend.

Elemental has reached $251m globally and will soon become Disney’s biggest hit since the pandemic, passing the fan favorite Disney film, Encanto.

But check this out…Elemental has now reached $251m globally and is expected to pass Encanto in the very near future! Encanto reached $256m. What does this all mean? Elemental will be Disney’s biggest movie since the pandemic!
