Festival of Fantasy Parade
The Festival of Fantasy parade is Disney’s Magic Kingdom park’s daytime parade. In this parade you can see many of your favorite Disney characters.
On most days, The Festival of Fantasy parade runs twice a day. Once at 12:00 pm and then again at 3:00 pm. Be sure to check the entertainment schedule on Character Locator to see showtimes for all daily entertainment throughout the parks.

Change in Parade
Back in April, Maleficent caught fire during the Fantasmic! performance at Disneyland. You can read about that HERE. After the incident, Disney released a statement:
We are temporarily suspending fire effects similar to those used at Disneyland park’s Fantasmic at select shows and entertainment experiences globally out of an abundance of caution following the Fantasmic prop fire at Disneyland Park. The continued safety of our cast and guests is the utmost importance.
This suspension included Maleficent breathing fire in the Festival of Fantasy parade. However, this did not include Maleficent in Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can read about the difference between the two Fantasmic! shows HERE.
It’s BACK!
It’s back! It has been reported that Maleficent is once again breathing fire during the Festival of Fantasy parade! I love this special effect, and it just wasn’t the same watching the parade without it.
It is reported that Maleficent is breathing fire again during the Festival of Fantasy parade at the Magic Kingdom!
This special effect is really fun, and I am glad that it can be safely brought back. Hopefully, Disneyland will be able to bring Fantasmic! safely back as well, as that is still currently paused.
