When both Disney World and Disneyland closed in March 2020, many changes took place. Among those were their annual pass programs. At one point, you could not purchase new passes for either coast for several months.

In August 2021, Disney finally announced new/modified programs at both Disneyland and Disney World. There are now more tiers, higher prices, and different park pass allotments.

However, that was short-lived as many of the tiers sold out. They have been unavailable for months. Most Guests who want to purchase new passes or let their passes expire are out of luck.

For eligible DVC Members, there is great news for you too, as you’ll have the opportunity to purchase the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online beginning April 13 as part of your Membership Magic benefits.

The great news is that the pricing will remain the same for these passes, but don’t wait. The sale of these will be limited and you will want to secure yours as soon as possible. Incredi-Pass is $1399, Sorcerer is $969, Pirate is $749, and Pixie is $399 (which is still currently being offered).

New sales of the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Pirate Pass will resume and can be purchased online beginning on April 20!

JW I totally agree with you! Also, Iger is the one who started promoting all the woke Disney. Most all of Disney executives are now woke and I hate it along with having to live on your phone. That is no vacation!

Has anyone done the math? How many visits or how many days would make it worth purchasing an annual pass? Also, can we assume Disney will allow passholders to renew it in a year?

NO Thank You! Disney appreciated passholders when they filled the parks during less busy times. Now Disney calls passholders "not their valued guests" saying they don't spend enough in the parks. The cost of my family's 6 top tier passes and multiple resort stays each year now to other places.

Agreed. I was a passholder for 18 years and a prior cast member, I gave my pass up last year. Between the pricing, the state of the parks, and the fact that I had to be on my phone the entire day to work the system to get on rides was exhausting. We have found all kinds of new and interesting things to do with the family. But we did have some really great times over the years!

When I first started purchasing an annual pass through DVC (called the gold pass at that time, but basically the same as thr sorcerer pass) it was around $450 a year. This was only about 5-7 yrs ago. Now it's double the price. Disney is just taking all the fun out of a vacation and pricing out most families. Nice work. Btw, at this point, Iger is no better than Chapek. Might be a tad more PR savvy, but same old bad decisions.
