Can you believe there are some restaurants and experiences that are still not open at Disney World? We have great news to share regarding one Epcot restaurant that is finally reopenings its doors – with a new menu.

Monsieur Paul

Delight in the culture and flavors of France that renowned chef Paul Bocuse has shared with the world for decades. Formerly Bistro de Paris restaurant in EPCOT, Monsieur Paul is located just upstairs from Les Chefs de France, the French Brasserie in the France Pavilion.

The new prix fixe menu offers a gastronomic meal––one in which people devote themselves to the art of “eating and drinking well.”

Very popular with the French and deeply familiar to them, the gastronomic meal has developed over centuries, constantly evolving, and has been passed down from generation to generation. The meal entails rites which include the search for good seasonal and local products, references to a codified repertoire of recipes, culinary skills, the setting of a beautiful table, the succession of courses and the pairing of dishes with wine.

The décor in this restaurant presents classic French architecture with bright colors and a touch of modern design. If a window-side table becomes available when you arrive, you’ll enjoy a unique vantage of EPCOT.

Chef Bocuse first opened Les Chefs de France at EPCOT in 1982—it was the first Bocuse-affiliated restaurant in America. His son, Jerome Bocuse, owns the company behind Monsieur Paul.

And at Monsieur Paul, you can enjoy the classic culinary stylings of Chef Bocuse amid all the magic of EPCOT.

Reopening Date

Along with the new prix fixe menu, Monsieur Paul also reopens its doors on October 18, 2022. At this time we do not have a date when you can begin to make dining reservations for this fine dining experience. With less than week to reopening, I imagine reservations will open very, very soon!

Monsieur Paul reopens on October 18 with a new prix fixe menu.

Have you ever eaten at Monsieur Paul? Are you excited for the restaurant to reopen? What do you think of a new prix fixe menu? Let us know in the comments below and on Facebook.

I arranged for our family to have my son's engagement party at Monsieur Paul's some years ago, in honor of our French heritage, and had a wonderful experience. So glad it's back again! Hope to arrange an "anniversary party" some time in the future.

I stumbled upon it in a rainstorm during our senior trip and was so glad to get out of the rain and eat something warm the price didn't even matter. My boyfriend and I are the most exquisite meal I have ever put in my mouth. The steak was melt in your mouth and I even enjoyed cooked tomatoes for the first time in my life and it was so lovely inside as well. The others on that trip left the park to eat at a Taco Bell and I felt sorry they didn't savor the trip and didn't get to enjoy the meal we did and wait out the rain to enjoy a practically empty park that evening. It was magical, and one of my perfect Disney memories even if my shoes did dye my feet and get ruined.

The last time our family ate there, it actually cost more per person than Victoria and Albert's, if you can believe that! That was at least seven or eight years ago, and the food was not up to par. My husband felt this way and he is a professional chef. My dad wasn't keen on the food either and he's a MasterChef, a culinary Olympian medalist, and he has worked with Monsieur Bocuse, the elder.

My daughter and I have eaten at Monsieur Paul a half dozen times. Took 18 of us there for Christmas dinner in 2018. Always loved their food. Service was impeccable too. Hopefully the incoming menu is as good as it was previously.
