‘LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation’ Goes to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser
A trip isn’t always about the destination but about the journey. Finn arranges a surprise vacation for his friends Rey, Poe, Rose, Chewie, BB-8, R2-D2, and C-3PO aboard the ultra-luxurious Galactic Starcruiser, the Halcyon to unwind from such tedious work protecting the galaxy. Even Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine sometimes need to get away!
While searching for his friends, Finn encounters three Force ghosts: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Leia Organa. They each share their own unexpected stories of vacations gone wrong. This helps him understand that holidays are more than just having fun.
The first trailer from the new ‘LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation’ Goes to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser has been released, and it is pretty awesome! “Weird Al” Yankovic is also featured performing his newest song for the film, “Scarif Beach Party.”

It truly will be the best vacation ever! How can it not be? C-3PO wearing his robe, who I would assume is on his way to the spa for a massage is perfect!
David Shayne is writer and executive producer, and the director is Ken Cunningham. James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert, Jason Cosler, Keith Malone, and Jennifer Twiner Mccarron are executive producers. It is produced in collaboration with Atomic Cartoons. The film will feature voices from “Weird Al” Yankovic, Yvette Nicole Brown, Thomas Lennon, Paul F. Tompkins and many others.
“LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation” will stream only on Disney+ beginning August 5, 2022.
