We were so sad to see the 50th anniversary decor taken down from the Orlando International Airport. But, we are happy to report it has a new home!

Last summer Disney announced that the Orlando International Airport would be getting in on all of the fun celebrations for the 50th anniversary. What fun to hop off the plane and be greeted with EARidescent fun!

Unfortunately, the fun stopped way before the end of the celebrations. Back in March, Orlando Airport no longer had the fun wraps and the giant 50th tea cup, pictured above. This stung a bit as the celebrations will continue until next Spring!

Are you wondering where the tea cup went? Would it be re-located or thrown into a warehouse somewhere? We have good news! Disney World Cast and Community shares the following:

“Cast celebrations are our cup of tea! In honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, a special new art installation has come to Disney University to welcome new Cast Members to the DisneyCastLife family in the most magical way.

The photos included in the post showcase various Cast, along with Disney World ambassadors, inside the giant tea cup from the airport! That’s so great that the tea cup can continue to be enjoyed, especially by local Cast Members who probably do not travel to the airport very often.

Where do you think the tea cup will go next?

Will the tea cup move somewhere else after it’s time at Disney University? Maybe a park or resort? Disney Springs?
