runDisney is gearing up for another race season. The virtual medals have just been released. Read on to get a first look!

runDisney Virtual Races

runDisney offers all types of races! You can race in person or even virtual. Before the pandemic, runDisney just offered the virtual summer series. However, now all of their races are virtual. I (Heather) love this because I love that runDisney bling! runDisney has beautiful medals, and they are a great way to show off your amazing accomplishments!

Virtual races gives participants the ability to run these races at home or anywhere else for that matter. It can give you a goal, so you can stick to your training plan better. I have done several virtual runDisney races. Most recently, I did the Princess Half Marathon Fairy Tale Challenge in 2021.

runDisney Virtual Summer Series Pricing

The awesome part about the Virtual Series? You can see the medals before you sign up! Like one medal over another? You can sign up for just that race! Love them all? Sign up for the Challenge!

All the distances for the Virtual Series are 5K’s (3.1 miles). This is a doable distance for many, so you can even get the kids involved! The pricing for each 5K is $47.97 which includes the 6.6% platform fee.

Want to do all three 5K’s? Sign up for the Challenge. Sign up for the Challenge and complete all 3 races and you will receive a FOURTH medal! Yeah, more runDisney bling! The Challenge is $159.90 which also includes the 6.6% platform fee.

Virtual Series Theme

Unleash your inner Elsa over a course of 3.1 miles. Your effort will earn you a commemorative medal featuring Kristoff and Sven in a snowy wonderland!

The Heroic Sequel

Celebrate the power of being true to yourself. Your reward? You’ll get an intricately designed medal featuring beloved sisters Anna and Elsa from Frozen II.

The Broadway Hit

Run, walk or dance your way along your chosen path. Finish the course and you’ll receive a show-stopping medal, inspired by Frozen on Broadway!

The Challenge

The runDisney Virtual Challenge includes all 3 Virtual 5K events. Complete them all and earn 3 finisher medals plus a bonus Challenge medal! This one-of-a-kind medal features our favorite snowman, Olaf, enjoying the Summer sun!
