Many guests are missing Disney cruises, but until sailings resume again Disney has your back! A new pop-up shop has just opened at Disney World that will help you get your Disney Cruise Line merchandise fix!
Disney Cruise Line
Many guests are eager to hit the high seas again with Mickey and the gang. While we might need to wait just a little bit longer, we’ve seen a lot of great steps in the right direction!
The Disney Wish is coming along quite nicely as Disney just announced a major construction milestone with the ship’s recent keel laying ceremony.
DURING A SHIP’S CONSTRUCTION, WHEN THE FIRST BLOCK, OR SECTION OF A SHIP, IS LOWERED INTO THE BUILDING DOCK, A NEWLY MINTED COIN IS PLACED UNDER THE KEEL FOR GOOD FORTUNE.
While Disney Cruise Line prepares behind the scenes to welcome guests back in a safe way, (hopefully this year), you can still get ready to set sail with an all new pop-up shop for all your cruising needs!
New Disney Cruise Line Shop
For guests looking to take a bit of the Disney Cruise Line magic home with them, they can simply pop into Disney Spring’s Marketplace Co-Op, now through early September!
Guests will be able to shop exclusive collections including the traditional Disney Cruise Line Wave and Sail Away Minnie Mouse collections as well as a selection from Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s private island in The Bahamas.
You’ll find something for the whole family here, including nautical Spirit Jerseys, t-shirts, and matching family outfits.
Because I don’t believe there is a thing as “too many loungeflys” I have to say I love the look of this sparkly nautical Disney Cruise Line Loungefly backpack! Not mention the adorable luggage sets are available, too.
You’ll also find a bunch of smaller souvenirs, too such as mugs, magnets, luggage tags, hats, and photo frames.
Guests will also have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy ship models.
Guests who have experienced a Disney Cruise before might recognize these iconic embarkation glasses that are typically sold on the first day of a Disney Cruise or as a “drink of the day”.
Well, now you don’t have to hit the high seas to relax with one of these cute drinks. Adults 21 and over can purchase a Strawberry Daiquiri or Pina Colada at Dockside Margaritas and take home this souvenir glass (while supplies last).
Finally, be sure to top off your excursion at the Disney PhotoPass Studio and capture your favorite tropical memories with a themed digital background, also available for a limited time!
The Disney Cruise Line Collections are available now through early September at Disney Spring’s Marketplace Co-Op!
