Eligible guests can take advantage of a package deal that includes Disney resort accommodations, park admission, and the Disney dining plan. It’s only valid for guests who booked to stay between March 16 and May 31 (even if the park opens before May 31).

  1. We bought tickets prior to coming so can we get free dining if we book on property. I called any my tickets were not refundable

  2. Jim, it may be the case that they are allowing people to do room only to get Free Dining in this current circumstance, as they already purchased tix when the parks closed, However, it isn’t true that during normal Free Dining promos pass holders are allowed to just pay for the room. Free Dining promos require that you purchase a package including tickets.

  3. Ok I have a question…. we had tickets And park hopper . The villain parade tickets we also had the dessert party tickets but we hadn’t picked a resort to stay at . we were driving down . we didn’t book the hotel yet are we still eligible for the free dining experience. Vacation was from April 16 to the 20th
    .

    • I would call and ask. My guess is that no, you would have had to all 3 parts of the package booked originally in order to qualify for this new offer.

  4. You can do Room Only +Dining… You always could, just have to ask. That’s how passholders take advantage of the free dining offers yearly.

You ARE subject to the terms and conditions of a “package” booking then though, just fyi so you deposit is 200, and balance needs to be paid 30 days prior to arrival. (Where as room only is 1night and balance not due to arrival) “cancelation” guidelines are 30days advanced notice as opposed to 5daus as well…. Though with everything going on I’d imagine they are beening MORE than flexible with that.

    • Yes, that’s when you can book using this offer as long as your original vacation was supposed to happen between March 16 and May 31.

  5. This does apply even if you had separate tickets. They will let you do room only with the dining plan. We’ve checked. We were there in the middle of our trip when it closed on us. Our tickets were bought separate. They have confirmed that any one who was there or had tickets and/or rooms for the dates listed is eligible for a full package or room only plus free dining.

  6. It would be nice if they offered this to everyone who had a reservation affected by the closure. My brother had a room only reservation with 5 day, base tickets already purchased. Unfortunately, a package is no good for him because they already have the tickets

  7. It’s pretty annoying to me as a pass holder that I am being charged every month for my pass still yet they are offering free dining to entice other guests to rebook their vacations. At least Universal is suspending charging pass holders .

  8. I think they need to offer free dining to everyone to get them back in the parks. They dont even know how long this will last. Also, what steps will they take for foreign visitors coming to the parks? That is gonna be a real problem! Im not sure when I would feel safe going to the parks again!
