What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village?
The Bread Service.
The Indian-style Bread Service for sure has a fan following because guests can order a variety of Breads with several different Accompaniments.
Everything from Chutney, Hummus, and Pickles mix perfectly together with Naan, Kulcha, and Paratha.
Well, the menu at Sanaa has changed and depending on your opinion of the Bread Service and how many Accompaniments you prefer, the change is either positive or negative.
Before, there were two different options for this Bread Service:
1. Choice of Five Breads – Traditional Naan, Garlic-Ginger Naan, Spiced Naan, Onion Kucha, or Paneer Paratha. Choice of Three Accompaniments – Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Mango Chutney, Tomato-Date Jam, Tamarind Chutney, Coriander Chutney, Garlic Pickle, Red Chile Sambal, or Spice Jalapeno-Lime Pickle. $13.00
2. Indian-style Bread Service with all Nine Accompaniments
Bread – Traditional Naan, Garlic-Ginger Naan, Spiced Naan, Onion Kucha, or Paneer Paratha. Nine Accompaniments – Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Mango Chutney, Tomato-Date Jam, Tamarind Chutney, Coriander Chutney, Garlic Pickle, Red Chile Sambal, or Spice Jalapeno-Lime Pickle. $18.00
However, the Disney website no longer lists the Three Accompaniment Option with Bread-Service.
Guests will now only be able to order the larger Nine Accompaniment Option.
So, if you really enjoyed all Nine Accompaniments, nothing has changed for you! However, if you only had a few favorites you will no longer have the option to order the smaller Service.
Recently, there’s been another change to Sanaa.
Breakfast is now available at Sanaa!
Highlighting a variety of different flavors inspired by authentic African cuisine, this new dining experience transforms Sanaa into a casual quick-service restaurant featuring grab-and-go options as well as a few familiar dishes with a unique twist that you can only find at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
And if you’re looking for a heartier, sit-down dining experience, you can browse a full menu of entrees that can be ordered at the counter and brought directly to your table!
The Sanaa Kuamsha Breakfast is offered 7 to 10 AM and reservations are not required. However, lunch and dinner are extremely popular and reservations are highly recommended.

Do you get all five bread types with the bread service or do you have to select what type of bread you would like?

The change to the bread service is just reverting it back to its original but with a higher price tag than back then.
If you get a good server, yes, you will be able to opt out of the incredibly hot spices and replace them with cooler options. Unfortunately, there is at least one, newer, server there we encountered back in October who refuses to help make any modifications to meals and works to drive up costs. We will not be returning for a very long time due to him. All the other cast members I've encountered there over the years have been fantastic and helpful.

I hope they allow you to duplicate some of the accompaniments otherwise that is a waste of food. If you only like a few sides then taking sides that you don’t like is a waste. We love the bread service and eat it every time we go! Thanks for the post.
