The best part of having started this blog just over a year ago is all the new amazing friends I’ve met as a result of the information that I’ve been fortunate enough to share. Some friends say hello and strike up a conversation in one of the parks, some spend a couple of days touring around with me, some are cast members who are the unsung heroes of the parks and some are coming forward to provide great photos and information from around the world. EuroRob is providing us great photos from Disneyland Paris and now I’d like to introduce you to Rich Muller. Well, you can’t see Rich because he hasn’t sent me a photo of himself, just lots of great character photos from Disneyland (California). Some of the photos include his terrific son and others are shots of the characters alone.
I thought it would be fitting to begin sharing some of Rich’s great work by displaying a party, a Bayou Bash. It’s the best family-friendly way to celebrate Mardi Gras and you get to see some great Disney characters. It takes place in February in New Orleans Square in Disneyland. The only character in the Bash who doesn’t offer meet and greets in Louis the Alligator. He’s a slippery sort of guy who only stops for photos on rare occasions. I hope you enjoy these and the other photos from Rich that I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks and months. He and I are working on a list of locations of Disneyland and California Adventure characters that should be ready pretty soon too.

I have season passes to wdw but went to dlr once two summers ago. The only two characters we saw the whole time were Pluto and Mickey. And it was terribly unorganized they just aimlessly walked around with people walking up to them to take a pic without posing

We were there last week on Mardi Gras day and were so sad that Mardi Gras Mickey wasn't meeting that day. We did meet Minnie, Goofy and Tiana though! A list for DLR is definitely needed, there are no good updated lists out there!

Love getting a look at Mardi Gras from DLR! And a list of characters would be great too. I've always had to search and try to compile a list myself when planning a trip to DLR and inevitability miss a few characters that we would have wanted to see.
