After BIG price increases this week, Disney finally reveals the highest price point ever for two Walt Disney World attractions. Do you think it is still worth the price?

Price increases are a part of life at Walt Disney World. The trend is for Guests to expect prices to increase every single year.

Overnight on October 5, 2026, Disney dropped several surprising new price increases. Guests can expect to pay more for many aspects of their Walt Disney World vacations starting immediately.

This affected single-day Theme Park tickets, all Annual Passholder tiers, character dining, some quick service dining, and select Lightning Lanes.

Guests hoping to skip the standby lines at Walt Disney World have several options. The Lightning Lane Multi-Pass allows Guests to make multiple selections throughout the day for tiered-level attractions.

The Lightning Lane Single-Pass allows guests to skip the traditional standby queue for one attraction. Both the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass and Single-Pass offer variable pricing based on the crowd calendar.

The Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane experience at a Disney theme park to enjoy at your leisure that day.

While the price of the Lightning Lane Multi-pass remains the same, the price of the Lightning Lane Single Pass now increases by $1-$3 depending on the attraction and date. The price of the Premier Pass is increasing up to $50 for all 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks, depending on the date.

We now see the first price increase for Individual Lightning Lane starting on November 1, 2026. On that date, both TRON Lightcycle/Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are priced individually at $25 per person.

My (Donna) family of 5 would pay $125 (not including tax) just to try to save the galaxy aboard Cosmic Rewind. This does not take into account the price of a park ticket, food, or whether you hope to skip the line using the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass.

Lightning Lanes use variable pricing, and this will not be a constant price, but this is at the top of the price point now for these two attractions. For reference, these are the prices for all Lightning Lane Single Passes on November 1, 2026:

  • Seven Dwarfs: $18
  • TRON: $25
  • Cosmic Rewind: $25
  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: $25
  • Flight of Passage: $20

  1. Lightening Lane prices are absolutely crazy! Especially when they used to be Fast Passes and Free.
Definitely a class divide when going to Disney!
It used to be everyone was equal.
Now those with money can go and have much more enjoyable time while the peons just stand in lines forever.
Amanda Disney says everyone can go to Disney you just have to pick cheaper times. Yeah, right!!
