Disney World Price Hikes: The Good News and the Bad News
Thankfully, some aspects of your Walt Disney World vacation will stay at the same price, while others will not so much. See how your budget will need to adjust before your next Walt Disney World vacation.
Disney Defends Price Increases

Over the past couple of years, the Walt Disney Company has been under attack by many who feel that the Disney parks are too expensive for the average family. Walt Disney first envisioned Disneyland as a place where parents and children could enjoy attractions in a magical land together.
Disney shares that budget-conscious Disney guests should aim to visit the Disney Parks during the cheapest dates and use value resorts, stating that making a Disney vacation affordable is the Guests' responsibility.
Recently, Hugh Johnston, Disney CFO, shared that the Walt Disney World Company is "super sensitive" to offer "value periods" of lower ticket prices and resort promotions. Johnston states, "so that we can actually encourage those young families to come in."
